Stopped by here for a drink since we were around South Street Seaport. Bouncer/security guard was super chill and nice. Their drink cups are huge. Bras freely hanging on the ceiling. Great vibes, lots of throwback songs, everyone was singing, it was FUN!
Great easy going bar. Very large food menu for the area and all surprisingly reasonably priced. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was excellent. It had two chicken cutlets slathered in buffalo sauce on really great hero bread. Loved the beer in the soup container. Great spot to grab some simple food and drinks. Will be frequenting more often. But if you want more of a home bar feel with super friendly staff just stick to fish market.
Good place to hangout with friends near Brooklyn bridge. They serve wide variety of beer on the tap and other drinks aswell.
Good place.
What a wonderful and classic dive bar. Drinks are strong and cheap for nyc, and the food is honestly really good. We checked it out to pregame for a show at Pier 17 and it was absolutely packed. Sounded like they usually didn't get quite as packed but it was still a good time.. Highly recommend if you are in the area or coming to down for a show on the (epic) Pier 17.
Stopped into this bar with my partner to catch the last few minutes of a game and unfortunately left pretty disappointed. I ordered two basic mixed drinks and was served massive, 30+ oz cups without any warning about the supersized portions or prices. Perhaps my fault for not noticing the dimly-lit chalkboard prefacing large drinks, but…
When I got the $43 bill pre-tip I was shocked. A little heads up from the bartender about the large pours and price points before taking my order would have set expectations properly.
While the atmosphere is lively, and the drinks themselves were fine, the lack of transparency around pricing was frustrating. Clear communication and visible pricing could improve the experience. Probably a better spot for beer, as the name suggests - I just hope this constructive feedback will prevent surprises for future patrons.
Imagine a dive bar by the water of Final District Manhattan, New York City, NY -- this place is the best version of that image. Great prices. Classic dive bar vibes and attitude. Surprisingly solid food
Had a fun night out with friends here. Happy atmosphere, lots of people, tourists and locals alike seemed to have a good time. The drinks were huge and more than reasonably priced.
Interesting ceiling decorations inside the bar.
great little bar, interesting decor.
beer served in large plastic cups.
found this on a hot day while visiting from australia. great place, staff very friendly too. thanks
The drinks here are outrageously big and I love it! Super reasonable prices. Overall and fun and super casual vibe.
Also there are a lot of bras in the ceiling lol
4.5 stars rounded down. Inexpensive dive bar. 12 oz ($6?) draft beer served in disposable plastic cups. Nonchalant service. Cute outdoor seating in a quiet street in the Seaport area. Quiet on a Tuesday 4:30pm.
