Excellent meal and service. The food was all delicious. The waiter was very professional and attentive. The food came out at the right times (always annoying when it comes too fast like they are trying to get you out). We split everything and they actually did it for us at the table. Very nice touch. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
Very nice restaurant and great service. The menu is varied and all options we tried were delicious.
We wanted to go to the one on Arthur Ave in the Bronx, but, being old school like they are, they are closed on Mondays.
Looking for a nice Italian place during the Restaurant Week, I did find the one in Flatiron District. Very cool and cosy place.
Staff went up and beyond for us, splitting the meals between the three of us.
3 pre-fix menus for the three of us.
Amazing food. The steak stood out. Pizza was great too, but all the food was very good. Arugula salad was nothing special, but still good. We had a bottle of nice Chianti and a bottle of sparkling water.
Lovely spot. As far as the food is concerned, this pace is five stars. I had a special, short rib rib ravioli followed by the scaloppine di vitello. Both delicious, the ravioli especially! Service-wise, I sat at the bar and the server was clearly focused on drink orders so not the best. If I were to return, I’d definitely insist on a table.
A nice Italian place in the city, much bigger and much nicer than we expected.
The service was great, annoyingly the only time we had to wait was when it came to get the bill - although it had just become really busy in there at that time.
It's white tablecloth and white-shirt servers, they'll split your dishes for you and serve them up too.
Came here for lunch...As a solo diner, I had a good experience. I enjoyed the relaxed & quiet atmosphere along with the attentive service. The grilled octopus was perfect (crispy yet tender). However the linguine con vongole was a bit too salty.
Found thru @consumingcouple on Instagram. One of the best places in NYC!! In short: adorable location, wonderful staff, best pasta I’ve had in the city. We got the cartoccio and one of the specials (bone morrow and short ribs). Both were absolutely delicious and the drinks were strong! Tiramisu wasn’t anything spectacular but whew the pasta!!! Told myself I wouldn’t repeat any places in the city but I’ll be back :) also our waitress (Mel 🥰) was just the loveliest 🥄
One thing to note however: would personally go with slighter warmer toned bulbs.
We sat at the bar, which was an amazing experience.
We had:
-3 glasses of sparkling wine
-Pear & goat cheese salad
-2 delicious pastas: The Cacio e Pepe with artichoke & the Radiatori in Cartoccio.
The latter is a must.
-Chocolate souffle
The service was fantastic.
The prices are very reasonable.
Highly recommend.
The food was amazing! The pasta with short ribs was like nothing I've ever eaten before. Portions were great and our server and his help were super professional yet warm at the same time. We've been to the location on Arthur Avenue and this one doesn't disappoint either.
Went there on a Sunday when it wasn’t very busy. Sat by the bar. Amazing service. They follow tradition- not just bringing your food, but serving it on your plate! Ambiance is amazing. Italian music playing is great- I even asked the server if he could tell me the name of a song I liked. Highly recommend. Do try the tin foil cooked pasta radiatori!
