This is an authentic Italian ten years established. The food was brilliant and portioned perfectly. We had 3 pizza’s all of which made with 100% organic ingredients (they don’t advertise this!) which were cooked on a real wood fire with a lovely flavour. My wife ate a Rigatoni pasta which was cooked perfectly al dente and beautifully seasoned. The meat and cheese selection to start was perfect. However the Kalema Red (Primavino Sale to 2011) was the star of the show. This wine made everything more tasteful 👌

If you want to have an authentic, great quality food and see how it’s done in the best places in Italy, this is your spot! Go and you won’t regret it! Pizza con la Nutella is definitely a plus 😂

I rarely write reviews while I’m still eating but this place gets an exception. Fun chill atmosphere and the food was great across the board. The Bottarga pasta was so awesome and different, pizza is solid, the service is great, and the prices are fair. Really, really liked it here.

The service started as we walked up to the restaurant. We were greeted and brought to our table. It was raining so we couldn't enjoy the patio but the big open front made for a very wonderful experience. It's a cozy space in all the right ways, nice big tables for groups and smaller ones for two. The wine selection included a great variety without an overwhelming amount of choice. The waiter was also helpful with the wine selection. We both ordered pasta and honestly it was perfect. Excellent sauce, incredible toppings and perfectly cooked. If your travels cross paths with Piacere, walk in, you will be so glad you did!

I choose Piacere for my birthday dinner, during my vacation trip. In one word; this place was PERFECTION. Perfect food, music, staff. Eddie, our server, was fantastic, he helped me with a special request. Everything was absolutely delicious. We got meatballs, seafood spaghetti, rugula salad with pear, diavola pizza (Yes we eat a lot :P) and the chocolate soufflé for dessert! I will continue posting my boyfriend happy face in those reviews. We can’t wait to come back! It

After the Great Gatsby Party we walked around the block looking for a place to eat and luckily stumbled upon Piacere! The atmosphere was cool and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious! The Cannelloni di Ricotta and Mozzarella con Pomodoro e Basilico was very tasty. Not too heavy as many pasta/cheese dishes can be. The Polpo and Patate was perfect! Many places have chewy, rubbery octopus that is over seasoned. This was excellent. THANK YOU!

Was introduced to this wonderful place by a good friend and now has become our go-to spot for authentic and delicious Italian cuisine. This intimate and cozy restaurant has long tables big enough for large gatherings of 6-8 people. It also has smaller tables as well for couples and group of 4. The ambience and music are the cherry on top of this place. I love how when you walk in you can see the pizza oven blazing away. The bar is to the left where one of the co-owners are normally there chatting away and serving drinks to guests. The staff treats you so well here. We ordered burrata and speck to share. For the mains I got the Spaghetti with bottarga [shaved aged cod roe] with chili lemon- orange zest. It was a perfect. Citrusy and creamy with a punched of umami flavor coming from the bottarga. Afterwards we got a wonderful surprise of having a lovely chocolate panna cotta on the house. [They don't do it often but sometimes you get lucky] TLDR This is a wonderful little gem worth going to and everything on the menu from the food to the drinks are made with perfection.

What was not to absolutely love ❤️ about this very ambient and welcoming place! Loved the gorgeous old brick walls with the antique lighting and tin ceilings. The flavor and textures of our pizzas cooked in the brick oven were hands down the best ever! The staff/owners saw to our every need! A great quiet cozy place great for visiting and relaxing!

Phenomenal food. Friendly staff, attentive service and an ambiance that can't be beat! Truffle wrapped salmon- pasta to die for, stuffed pizza made with love, brick walls, floorboard heating, shelves lined with olive oil vessels and reggae music playing..... I am only here for 6 nights but I think I need to eat here again before I leave NY! A MUST TRY! You won't be disappointed.

Amazing ambiance and even better food. Easily the best pizza I've ever tasted, carnivore or vegan. Don't miss the truffle bruchette, and be sure to ask for the spicy olive oil if you like a little "zing" in your dining experience. Our favorite restaurant, and most certainly our favorite in NYC!!! The four cheese pizza is a must have, the staff is amazing and took our daughter behind the counter to teach her how to roll dough. We are lifelong fans.

We chose Piacere because of the positive reviews. The pizzas were out of this world, my husband loves the pasta special with seafood. There were plenty of shrimp, clams and calamari in it. For dessert we chose tiramisu, chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream and crème brulé. Each was exceptional. The service was perfect. We will definitely return.

Absolutely Fantastic!!. We ate there on a Saturday night (a party if 6), were seated right away, had some wine, and ordered pretty quickly. Everyone at the table got something different and it was all fantastic! It's cash only (or Amex), but there's an ATM onsite. Hands down the best Italian food we've had in the city so far.
