Review Sprinkles - New York City

New post! Sprinkle Hope and Twix cupcakes delicious! Must try. Heads up for Sprinkle Hope: there are pearls on top - DON'T BITE/CHEW them, rock hard, will break a tooth! Check photo. I choose Sprinkles over Magnolia. I can eat 2 Sprinkles cupcakes in one sitting. There is a nice balance between the dough and cream top. Soft, rich, and pleasant to bite into. There are so many flavors and new limited time pop-ups frequently. This visit, I got Banana and Dark Chocolate, loved both. You can order for pick up, delivery, or order in store. They have Pupcakes too.

Dangerously delicious cupcakes at this establishment. Extensive menu including their seasonal variety that suits evey taste. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff

Salted caramel cupcake. That is all. Other flavors are great too, of course— but there is nothing like their salted caramel. I think the pic speaks for itself

Wow! The Patron Margarita was my FAVORITE, it was incredible! I also got a chocolate, a sprinkle and a crème brûlée and they were all very good. I thought that the iPad ordering was a nice way to expedited service, although it’s a little impersonal with cashier standing right there. She was very sweet and helpful and fast once the order was in. A wonderful place for a sweet treat!

Im not sure about the atmosphere because I ordered a delivery XD. Cupcakes are indeed awesome, tasty, so soft like a soft cake with delicate frosting, not too heavy at all. The thing that did bothered me is the fact that here on google maps, the place is signed as LGBTQ friendly. Why is it important to write it? Is this place also friendly for Jews, Blacks, Asians? I mean- humans in general

THE BEST CUPCAKE IN THE USA!!! This is the very first location that Candace Nelson open ever in the US. It’s the mother of cupcakes! The fact that this is a family business that grew to be one of the most amazing places for a sweet treat in the county is worth your money and your time. They don’t only have cupcakes but they also have cookies, ice cream and everything is so good you will be looking for the closest cupcake ATM in your area. You can feel the love in every bite and the richness in flavor! Go, enjoy, and feel one cupcake close to heave! Truly love the dark chocolate sprinkles! Staff is friendly!

So cute inside smells amazing, quick & friendly service. The cupcake was just good! Very sweet but absolutely tasty. Would go perfect with a glass of milk! Had the vanilla & milk chocolate.

Sprinkles is one of the OG gourmet cupcake places, and the fact that it's still around is a testament to the quality of its cupcakes. There are a number of specialty flavors, but the red velvet is a signature flavor, so much so that they offer it in both a vegan version and a gluten-free version. I'm partial to the dark chocolate flavor, which is rich, chocolatey and moist. The big draw at this location is the Cupcake ATM, where they offer a few of their popular flavors for purchase through an ATM (max of 4). I love bringing out-of-town visitors here for the novelty. There's a dedicated cupcake store as well as a cupcake/ice cream parlor next door.

Spriiiiinkleeees!!!!!!!! We’ve seen sprinkles ad in german tv and decided to try. Was our first cupcakes ever and it was awesome. It’s a tiny place, but super yumm cupcakes and a really open, fun and charming staff. I even bought a “I love sprinkles” fan shirt. Thank you! :)

I miss the location downtown that closed during the pandemic but glad they still have a location in the UES. My favorite, there are lots of combos and cupcakes are moist and delish everytime I order them. I wish we had more locations! Magnolia’s is getting a bit overrated

The best Cupacakes ever made, especially their red velvet me and my wife loved them so much and my stepdaughter... And I drive all the way from Boston Massachusetts to New York to get them once in a Blue Moon because we don't got one in Boston yet... 😢🌹❤

Cupcake ATM was being refilled and out of service when we arrived. We waited and it was so cute to get one out of the ATM! Worth the 10 minute wait for a unique experience.

I went to Sprinkles because it might be one of the most famous cupcakes places in NYC. The red velvet cupcake was nice (which was a surprise because normally i do not like red velvet that much) and the chocolate one was very good too.

The only reason why I went there is for the Cupcake ATM. Its cute enough that you'll be more tempted to try and get one. They actually have amazing cupcake 😍

I came across Sprinkles Cupcakes in passing. This specific location had a "cupcake ATM", which I of course had to try! Unfortunately it was not working on both occasions that I went there to use it, which is what brought my review down. However, they do have great, moist cupcakes. I tried both the Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Coconut. Both were delicious, and VERY sweet. Very reasonable prices too.

A heaven for cupcakes lovers. Many variants and delicious taste. The location is at a distance to Central Park (5th Ave). Deserves a visit.

Desperate for a cupcake? Well, if you are near Bloomingdales on the Upper East Side, pop into Sprinkles Cupcakes. There are several standard flavors like chocolate, red velvet, coconut, vanilla and seasonal ones like lemon meringue that came out in April. There are also a few miniature cupcakes and a gluten-free one.

Best of all right next door there is a cupcake ATM in case one has a sweet attack at 3 am. Beware though, because this costs far more, but during the early hours of the morning one is hardly in a position to be budget conscious!

There is also an adjacent store selling ice creams, cookies, sundaes, milkshakes and yes, more cupcakes.

My favorite is the chocolate marshmallow cupcake despite having tried several of the other flavors. I limit myself to only one, but when April rolls around, I get two as lemon meringue is luscious and resistance is futile.

Best cupcakes on Lexington Ave !

I always make it a must to go get myself a sprinkles sundae and a few cupcakes before I leave the city. Make sure to try the coconut, red velvet and vanilla treats
SweetsAndSunsets
The cupcakes are great but the best part about sprinkles is it's sprinkles sundae! You can get a full or mini-sized sundae, which is a cupcake split in half and a large portion of ice cream in the middle. You can mix and match as much as you want so you never need to get the same flavor twice. My personal favorite lately is a strawberry cupcake with red velvet ice cream!

Ordered the ice cream instead of cupcakes since they have Red Velvet ice cream and I'm a red velvet junkie. So i had Red Velvet and Rocky Road ice cream and another round of on the kiddy cup 😝. Should see their cupcake ATM which really dispense a cupcake. Wish i could have it at home 😝

April 27, 2015 April 25, 2015 / Jess Carey Sprinkles Cupcake ATM 780 Lexington Ave, New York https://www.sprinkles.com/cupcake-atm When I first heard about this (and goodness only knows how I came across it, I can’t for the life of me remember!), I thought it was a joke. Maybe a temporary 1 month pop up deal. I didn’t think it’d last long enough for me to actually try it. But it wasn’t temporary or a cruel joke. It was magic. Good magic. From the good cupcake fairies of the world. How else can you explain an ATM that dispatches cupcakes?! So, dinner had been eaten. It was freezing cold that night, as most nights were in New York over the past winter. We were on our way to Alice’s Tea Cup for some hot tea and scones , when we realised we were walking straight past the Sprinkles Cupcake store. The store with the ATM out the front of it. Cue hysterical laughing and then the realisation that this thing was legit. How does it work? Pretty simple. 1. Put your credit card in the credit card hole. 2. Make your sweet selection from the touch screen. 3. Confirm your wish to spend money on magical cupcake happiness. 4. The screen door closes. 5. Stare in amazement as the screen door then opens to reveal a perfect little cupcake box sitting there, waiting to be taken home. Seriously, that’s it. It’s a real thing, and it’s the best! How much happier can you get than a cupcake at 3am if you desperately need one?! I wasn’t sacrificing my hot tea though, so I put it in my handbag and went on to Alice’s. But then I felt like a cupcake when we got back to the hotel – walking through the cold New York streets is hungry work, after all. I went with red velvet, and it more than lived up to all the hype. Moist and crumbly, loved the frosting, it was delicious and totally cancelled out my fear that cupcakes from ATMs wouldn’t be as good. It really was. So stop reading this and go get yourself an ATM cupcake! And for those of us not in New York with access to a cupcake ATM, make your way

Best Cupcakes I have ever had! The staff is very friendly and peppy! I got 6 cupcakes and they were all great! I will visit a location ever time I am in the area.

Yummy cupcakes that have a moist texture and the frosting is oh so irresistible! My fab is the coconut and the lemon cupcake! Burst with flavors! U can taste each layer of fresh flavors! I will try the chai cupcake next Friday! Note: not all cupcakes are baked everyday

Great experience!. I went here with my wife looking for a red velvet cupcake and found a great one. The place was clean, a little cramped, and the staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They even have cupcakes for dogs, which mine loved. I highly recommend this place and look forward to trying more types of cupcakes.

Buying cupcakes is already a happy event but to be able to purchase them from an ATM that exclusively dispenses the baked treats is a uniquely fun experience. I stopped by Sprinkles Cupcakes Cupcake ATM after a doctor's appointment uptown recently to try it out for myself. First of all, it's pink and adorable! The Cupcake ATM is sandwiched in between Sprinkles Cupcakes and Sprinkles Ice Cream at 780 Lexington Avenue which is right by Bloomingdales. The Cupcake ATM is continuously restocked with a variety of cupcakes and operates 24 -7 so you can satisfy that cupcake craving anytime. You touch the screen to begin and are presented with a display showing all the available cupcake and frosting options. You make your picks, pay and then your cupcakes appear momentarily from behind a sliding door. You do pay 50 cents more per cupcake for the convenience and novelty but it's definitely worth trying once. Sprinkles Cupcakes are usually $3.75 each. They also carry minis for $2.00 each and smal

... Cupcake ATM that just opened this March and operates 24/7... so I just had to check it out...
The Regular Guy NYC
In all my life I never really thought I would end up writing reviews of cupcakes, but after a few bites of bliss I had to change my underwear as the ensuing orgasm that followed after eating these moist cakes of aphrodisiac like substances made me want to actually write an erotic novel about them. Hence, that is why I am now in front of my computer trying to write this review, and keep it short and on point, while still shuddering in the afterglow of these wonderful pastries. I also must not be the only one, since when I made a quick pit stop on the way home from work the other night the store was packed with other cupcake sex lovers at about ten minutes to closing. Yes, I said sex. These cupcakes reek of it. They command it. They want to beat you with it and make you cry out for more! I had to get a box of four to sample a few different tastes. Each one is unique in it’s own way. Chocolate Marshmallow was like eating a devil dog with cream inside. Ginger Lemon was simply amazing and b

Cute-looking cupcakes...

I actually think that cupcakes are completely overrated and that the cupcake craze is out of control (this may be partially due to the fact that I worked at a cupcake store for a year). However, that doesn’t prevent me from checking Twitter so I can get a free cupcake during lunch at Sprinkles , the cupcake place down the street from my summer internship. If you follow them on Twitter or like their Facebook page , you will see tweets and posts like this: “Do yourself a flavor! The first 50 people to whisper “my flavor-ite” at each Sprinkles receive their favorite cupcake for free!” That’s how I ended up eating a dark chocolate cupcake for lunch. I Just Want To Eat
If you are a fan of the TV show Cupcake Wars , you have probably heard about Sprinkles Cupcakes: one of Judges, Candace Nelson, is with her husband Charles, the owner. It all started in 2005 with the first store that opened in Beverly Hills: they got sold out the first day in three hours and then sold more than 2,000 cupcakes the first week, starting a success story that continues today, with more than 10 locations in the US and projects to open in London and Tokyo. Sprinkles Cupcakes is also known for the first cupcake ATM in the world, introduced in 2012, where cupcakes are available 24/7. We did not try the ATM and went straight to the store. It was a week day, the week ends being crazy there. An allusion to the stars on Hollywood Boulevard As soon as you enter the place, your senses are overwhelmed by an incredible baking smell that make you want to live there. It is a colorful place for sure... What I like about such a place is that they propose cupcakes in two sizes: regular o

Their cupcakes are incredibly moist, flavorful and balanced.

The interior is really small but has just enough space for a couple groups of people to enjoy their cupcakes and coffee:

"... The cake part of the Lemon Meringue cake, on the other, was perfectly moist, and also had the slightly over-baked, cookie-like crisp edges that I love in cupcakes, was topped with a deliciously browned meringue top that wasn’t too gummy, and hid a ideally sweet/tart center of gooey lemony goodness...."
Cherie City
The dark cake was moist and rich with a thick layer of dense, sweet high quality vanilla frosting and dark chocolate sprinkles.
