My husband and i both love this burger place. The signature burger the Black Iron is one of my favorite, the double beef patty always cooked perfectly and juicy. The Masterpiece is a must when you are a big eater and want a pack of flavor in your burger. I recently tried Costilla burger, boneless pork rib and i love the contrast of tangy taste in it. Meanwhile my husband enjoyed the Iberico burger and truffle cheese fries.
Burgers are simply excellent. So good I had to take a second one even I was full... Among the best I have ever had (and I am picky...)
Fanastaci beers too. And great / nice service. Difficult to go wrong if you are looking for a good burger or just some refrwsging drinks.
Atmosphere is more like retro music / high chairs and sports on tv (Even if you don't like it, it doenst spoil the excellent food)
Nice place for a burger and drink at night. Stumbled across this place on my birthday one night when I was visting New York. I really loved the atmosphere of the place and I was serviced perfectly and couldn't ask for a better crew! I can't remember what the burger I got was called but I did love it and really wish I had another at this time! I was full by the time I was done eatting I highly recommend this place if you are in New York for food and sports. A great birthday for myself and can't wait to go back!
Best burger in New York. Everytime I visit the town, I have a burger in Black Iron. Here is the recipe of your best meal - little Italy burger no caramelized onions, loaded fries and abita purple ale. You won't regret. (On the photo it's regular fries, not loaded, but you should take loaded, remember that)
One of my favorite burgers in New York. Black Iron starts with a solid patty/bun base and then pluses it up with fun toppings, such as a hash brown. They always have good beer options on tap, and at happy hour you can probably escape around $20-25pp depending on your side selection(s). Also, it's not cash only.
Their milkshakes are made from real homemade ice cream! Theres one in midtown as well, which is slightly bigger with a more extensive menu but nevertheless.
Burger patties are great (got the one with the egg on top) and the fries are the perfect amount of crunch. So good.

Great burgers and fries. Tight location so not good for groups over 4 people. The burgers we're cooked a little on the rare side but I think that is better than the alternative. The fries were great as we're the lightly breaded onion rings. Good beer selection as well. Go for one of the menu burgers and it will be cheaper than building your own. Great spot!
Had a nice experience at Black Iron Burger - burger was very very good ...not fantastic but very very good. I would, and will go again. Solid beer list. Fairly small space but they move patrons quickly in n out. I customized my own burger. French fries did not come on side. Nevertheless I WOULD recommend.
These burgers were amazing! I'm from Texas and we have the best burgers here but this Joint will give any burger down here a run for its money. Wash it down with a good cold beer and you have the perfect meal. Great music was playing and the staff was very helpful. I will definitely be adding this to my list of NYC eateries.
