My daughter and I took my closest friend here , because he wanted to go here for his birthday. We very much enjoyed ourselves here. I had salmon, which was wonderful, the macaroni & cheese wasn't nice at all. It was prepared with disappointment. Overall we still had a damn good time. And will probably go again , the smoked wings were fabulous.

So, not knowing where I’m at. I walked forever down riverside drive. From downtown to get this place I remember before they were shutdown in Chicago. I had to run in run out now trying to catch my flight with less than an hour till departure home. The sister at the check in desk was highly attentive right away. And came across to me as genuine. No conscious bias or subconscious prejudice behaviorism’s toward her customer. Food was ready before I finally made it. Plus the restaurant was busy. All I came to New York for was Gotham barbershop and Dinosaur Barbecue.

My waitress Johnee was AMAZING!!! She gave honest recommendations and was also super helping with letting us sample sides we wasn’t to sure about ordering.
The last time I’ve had Fried Green Tomatoes that good was in Louisiana I highly recommend ordering them.
DONT ORDER THE JERK SALMON!!! Everything else is good tho the drinks the baked beans the Mac & Cheese. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu in my future visits.

Pork and brisket plates were extremely tasty, and portions were generous. As far as the sides go, both the mac and cheese and beans were excellent. Very good drinks menu with lots of choices as well. Prices were fair. Great atmosphere, and great service.
I won’t say it’s as good as the barbecue joints in the south but it’s pretty darn close and the best you can get in Manhattan for sure. Super happy to have found this place, it’s epic, and I will be going back as often as I can.

Very nice range of products! We ordered the meat combo with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The server also recommended the BBQ chicken, which was also amazing! The price for all the food were very reasonable! It would definitely be the place I would visit whenever I am around that area!

Have been going to Dinosaur BBQ for years, both in Rochester and Harlem. Each location’s menu is slightly different but very tasty. I recommend the ribs and pulled pork combo with Mac and cheese and garden salad as your sides. Wango Tango is my bbq sauce of choice, it has a little kick to it. Definitely have to order the wings with their homemade blue cheese sauce and their deviled eggs. I never liked deviled eggs before having theirs, something about the creole seasoning hits the spot. I can never choose between white lightning and donkey punch so I always split both, but they are strong pours so be warned!

Very american style diner. Amazing food, already been here three times and brought my friends here! Highly recommend the smoked brisket first and foremost, pulled pork and ribs, as well as buffalo wings are all close seconds. Amazing food and sides, the service was really friendly but it may be difficult to flag down servers. Loved this place!

Very delicious rib. We tried the sweetheart dish, and it was so much food for two! The atmosphere was cool and the people were nice. Totally recommend it!
(I recommend not to get the green side though!)

We are visiting from SC for the week. We ordered the sampler platters. The pulled pork and ribs were delicious! I’m not a fan of brisket, but my husband loved it. He also said the bbq fried rice was good. I want a fan of it because it had cabbage in it and no taste for me. The sweet tea was great. The Cajun potato salad was good, but I just wish that it was a little colder. Service was fantastic, but it did take our food a while to come.

I ordered food to go. Everything was flavorful and prepared quickly. Ribs were tender and delicious! The music was a bit loud when I went, but the song selection was pretty good. I will definitely be returning and hope to go through their entire menu!

Came here for dinner for the first time after a nice walk through Riverside Park. This place is a nice and surprisingly large location which make you feel like you’re not in NYC for a bit. Loved the food - hit the spot! The wings are well smoked and delicious (we got the K-Pow and the Garlic Chipotle flavors). My husband and I also split a combo plate (which was very generous) of St. Louis ribs, brisket and pulled pork. I especially liked the St. Louis ribs but everything was great. I loved the sides too - the Mac and cheese, spicy cucumber salad, and cornbread all pulled their weight. Very reasonable prices and portion sizes for the city. Would recommend coming here!

The vibe is amazing. our server, who was also the bartender was fantastic. Just the right blend of friendly, professional and polite, a blend that is very hard to find. We sat at the bar, he made us feel at hone and when my lady has issues with her drink he took care of it with grace. The food was a long time coming and not as hot as we would like it to be, which means it was sitting there for a while, but the bar tender made up for it. The place is off the hook on Fridays, with long lines, we will definitely come back on a week night to enjoy more of the great service decor and yes, piping hot BBQ goodness!

Haven't been to Dinosaur BBQ in years, so I was surprised when my friend suggested he wanted to dine here... Shocked, it was his first tyme (1st tyme for everything, right?!)
Upon entering, we were greeted & seated in a timely manner. Our server was pleasant and gave tyme for us to peruse the menu...
His meal selection: Brisket of beef, BBQ chicken, Mac & Cheese & Sweet Yams... Cornbread upon request.
My meal: Fried green tomatoes (Delicious!); Brisket of beef sandwich with Mac & Cheese, and Cole slaw (a bit too tangy for my taste)
No Sweet or Alcohol beverages, because it was a hot steamy day/evening, we sipped ice cold water.
Though the food was good & seasoned to my liking it was lukewarm.. Not piping hot!!
Overall, all went well as expected.. No rushing!! Chill atmosphere!
Will return... because my Mom wants to revisit

Will only seat you when your entire party is ready, just so you know. I came here for a friend's birthday. It was worth it. Good food and not a bad environment. It's worth the money.

My boyfriend and I ordered food from there on 4th of July. We tried to order online but it was unavailable. We called and someone picked up the phone and had us on hold for over 30 minutes. He decided to go there, got there ordered the food, was told it would take an hour. We get it, it’s 4th of July so it’s busy. We waited got the food, rushed home on the bike to meet our friends for dinner at his house, just to get there and all our sides were missing. We got ribs, rotisserie chickens and wings. We did not get our Mac&cheese our greens, our cornbread, our mashed sweet potato. It was disappointing. We were so mad, completely ruined our forth of July festive.
We tried calling multiple times and no one answered and it was impossible to go back since we were no longer close to the location. 😡🤬 Definitely will be seeking our money back.
We went back weeks later and spoke to the manager (Lizett) and she was extremely nice. Wè explained what happened and she sat us and served us herself. I truly appreciate that. Definitely will be going back with the whole family.
