Amazing time with my family. Great atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again. Fantastic food wish I could try it all.
Incredibly kind service. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the French onion soup. Nice wine list as well.
Quaint place with amazing food and a great wine menu.
Everything was absolutely amazing!! By far one of the best places i've eaten in the city. The escargot was perfect, and the roast chicken was delicious. You could tell a lot of time and care went into each dish. The atmosphere is adorable and romantic and the service was very attentive. The story of the place is adorable and adds to the whole experience. A must go!!!
A great little restaurant in the East Village for a night out with friends. We were there on Friday for exactly that reason and had excellent meals all around. I especially liked the cassoulet of duck, sausage and white beans. The wine selection was top notch as well. They also have a "secret garden" in the back that is great for events. When we arrived, there was a rehearsal dinner going on in the back.
Really nice place, really good food, and nice reception. You certainly must go.
I celebrated my 40th Birthday at Tree Bistro a few mts ago in June. 15 of us Travelled from Toronto to NYC for the wknd. Some only came for the Dinner which was Hosted here on a Saturday. I can't say enough good things about it. Food was AMAZING which was agreed upon by everyone !! I think we must have ordered some of everything off their menu. We were quite impressed with how every dish was so delicious. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was considering how fabulous the food is. The Waitress, Manager and all staff made our dining experience charming and easy breezy. It went off with out a hitch. We sat in the outdoor Patio located in the back. Couldn't have picked a better spot to have dinner and celebrate. They were very helpful and accommodating when I arranged the reservation via e-mail from Toronto. Thank you Tree Bistro for helping make my Milestone Birthday so memorable.
Tree Bistro was on our NYC restaurant list as a "must do" and we were NOT disappointed. Arriving late, we were greeted as family, given a warm corner table and were regaled by a charming proprietor. Long list of wine options by the glass. Indulged ourselves with duck pate and the seafood linguine. Had a leisurely meal away from the noise of Times Square and went home well sated!
I hosted my sister's bridal shower here in July 2015. The back garden is a beautiful space and perfect for a private event for about 30 people. The food is delicious-- amazing truffle fries, risotto, roasted chicken, and seafood pasta! The staff and the owner, Colm, are very accommodating and great to work with for event planning. The indoor space is also very pretty. The space overall has a shabby chic, rustic charm. Great for dates, dinners with girlfriends, or to take out of towners to show them a real local and quaint spot in the East Village.
This place was SO wonderful. It's a beautifully cozy restaurant with friendly service and incredibly delicious food. We went there for my husband's birthday and they went above and beyond to help him celebrate. We will definitely be coming back!
