GOOD BUT EXPECTED MORE First time at Cafe Du Monde. Excellent beignets but no better than the knock-off places in Houston. I was always told that I HAD to go to the actual Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans to have beignets, so I was expecting a little more. Service was very pleasant, though!

Beignets, out of this world. It was so good to fact I bought a mug to take home so I would never forget how great they were. I get home, mug is great, I put in the dishwasher and the decorative part that I thought was paint, melted off. Kinda bummed because I have a sweet collection of mugs for random happy memories. Don't know when I'll be back in New Orleans to take this up with head office and get my mug replaced, but on another hand I do have a reason to go back. Anyways, if you get the mug, hand wash. Cafe du Monde, if you're reading this I would be happy to accept a mug in the mail. Yours truly, a dedicated yet distant customer.

The Café Du Monde is a traditional New Orleans staple and the one at the Riverwalk Mall is no exception. The beignets are the same and every bit as good as the original location. The service is not the best, though the young lady who took our order was great. Otherwise a good snack at a good price.

If you find yourself in New Orleans, you have to take a visit to Café Du Monde! They bake the freshest, most delicious beignets that are covered with mountains of powdered sugar. The beignets are so doughy, sweet, and lightly crisp. I also got a small cup of café au lait, which was rich and steaming hot. We even bought two boxes of mix to make our own beignets at home. If you’re ever craving heaps of sugar and fabulous fried dough, stop by Café Du Monde!

A New Orleans institution, you absolutely must come here when you're in town. Their beignets are to die for. Pillowy friend dough covered in an avalanche of powdered sugar. Wash it down with their excellent coffee. This place is always crowded but the line moves pretty fast and it's open 24 hours. You could also get table service if you wish.

Melt in your mouth beignets! If you love pastries, funnel cakes or fried anything, definitely go here! They don’t offer anything other beignets and select drinks, so know what you’re getting yourself into. A must try if you’re in NOLA!

Located inside the Riverwalk Outlets this location is a short walk, about 20/30 min, from the original in the French Quarter. The line is long but moves reasonably quickly. Once you are close enough you can watch them roll out and fry beignets through the window. The quality is just as good as the original location with a spectacular view of the river.

Hands down the best beignets!! Make sure you don't wear all black, as you'll likely get powdered sugar all over you lol. They do a good job of keeping it clean, and the food is very tasty!

It's definitely one of the most popular beignets shops and you can tell that by the long wait lines. If you are going around the festivities it could easily be a 2 hr wait for both carry out and dine in. The crowd gets better around late evenings. The beignets are good but honestly not worth all that wait time. They come out to be super oily and sometimes very hard and chewy. But you can still check it out just to get that experience.

Legit beignets!!!! If there aint white sugared powder on the floor, you know it isn’t authentic!! This place was poppin and for good reason. Such delicious food!! Unfortunately, the Californian in me didn’t get coffee because they didn’t have non-dairy options. Other than that, I highly recommend! The employees were friendly and on top of sweeping and cleaning. They bring you little water glasses too!
