This is a raucous, loud place, with blaring music. Not a place for romance. A joint, if you will. All of the staff and the customers are Mexican or otherwise Hispanic. Only one person there spoke English. That being said, I found it to be a fun restaurant. This might have the best Mexican food in New Orleans- huge and awesome shredded beer flautas, good beans, tasty rice, sour cream, and a fine salad, with lettuce, radish, and tomato. The meal was $8.50. I would most definitely go back. Highly recommended!
