Had a lovely experience! The food was great and the ambience was wonderful as well. They have a patio seating. We had to stand in a queue for a while but could get a table quite quickly! Definitely recommend this to everyone!

Wonderful NOLA restaurant with authentic Cajun food. The crab cakes are superb. My husband had the gumbo and nearly licked the bowl clean. Nice strong margaritas, and we ended the meal with chocolate kahula mousse cake.

This was a great find in the French Quarter. The prices were very reasonable for the area. They have an extensive drink selection and great menu. They also have several desserts to choose from. There was a short wait but the bar was open to guests in the waiting area. They have several dishes on the menu that are traditional to New Orleans. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and the service was fantastic. Follow us for more great reviews ™

I had a wonderful time and definitely recommend the Taste of New Orleans. It has an entirety of great food. The beans and sausage were much better than I typically expected of beans and sausage, and the sea food gumbo tastes better than any gumbo I’ve ever had. The rice was a bit bland, but still good. Josh, the bartender was by far the best part of the morning. He was very kind and talked with me about New Orleans. He served me the Queens and Kings as well as the NO Cosmopolitan. The music really doesn’t match the atmosphere. But the staff was excellent.

It is a very vibrant place with excellent food and an extensive selection of cocktails. I tried one of their signature dishes, flounder with grits and etouffe, and found it delicious. Bread pudding was very good, too. They have the dining tables on the second floor, as well.

My rating for this restaurant is a 4.5 but as usual since I can't give half star ratings the full rating is a four. The food here was good. Great place to go if you're new to New Orleans and looking to try some of the classic dishes like jambalaya or red beans and rice. I've had their fish on previous trips and it's pretty solid too. I recommend getting it blackened. I had their specialty oysters and the alligator tail. I accidentally got my alligator fried. If you order alligator here get it blackened. You can get fried alligator at almost any restaurant in the city but they do blackened Gator tail really well. Four stars for service because the restaurant wasn't very crowded and service was pretty slow. Once I was able to order my food came out quickly but getting to order and getting refills has been better in previous trips.

Overall this place is great. Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of five is because of its competition inside the city of New Orleans. I’ve had better, but it was definitely good. The service was top tier excellent. Went about 11 in the morning on Bayou Classic weekend and was able to be seated immediately. Order was taken quickly and food came out reasonably fast. Have had better food in New Orleans, but will definitely have you satisfied.

In town for a concert and stopped by for dinner! It's hard to go wrong in New Orleans and this place did everything right. Highly recommend. Here are my takeaways: Environment Located in the quarters, we had to wait in line because of how busy it was but the wait wasn't too long and it was well worth it. Large space with plenty of character. There are tons of options for dining and places to sit at the bar as well. We had a great seats near the window for people watching. It's a lively vibrant fun place that looks to always be busy. Service Our server was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and was warm, friendly and made us feel like we were at home. She gave us great recommendations on food and drinks to try. Although they were busy, the service was fast and attentive. Loved it! Food and Drinks What can I say - all the food was amazing. I had the shrimp poboy and fries and we had a side of gator bites. Everything was delicious ESPECIALLY the gator and the sauce. I will be back for more and to try other things on the menu. So good! I can't remember the drink I had but it was good and strong just like it should be. Overall This was perfect place for dinner. We had a great meal and great drinks with a fun and upbeat atmosphere to get our nights started. Service was great and although we had to wait to be seated, we didn't wait long and it was well worth it. I will be going back and highly recommend. Run here!

Had a blast spending our anniversary here! The food was delicious and our waiter Damon was one of the friendliest waiters we have met in this whole trip. We even received some souvenirs, which was so thoughtful! Food came out fast. The pecan pie was delicious!

Today’s visit to Oceana was overall good! It was not great, but instead good as the food was above average, our hold time was not the worst, our customer service was pretty good on Kevin’s behalf as he was very timely and personable, and the overall atmosphere was decent as well. We ordered the Red Fish with the Crawfish sauce; it is the restaurants special, and it came with some vegetables similar to greens and mash potatoes which were pretty good as well! We also ordered the Gator Tail Bites; both blackened and fried and those were about a 4 out of 5 as well; good flavor, great texture, similar to chicken! Great pick! We also ordered the soft tail crab and it was NOT worth $10…I do not recommend it for anybody if they are wanting crab, so please be mindful. Overall, it was an EXTREMELY BUSY DAY and we waited about 15 minutes to be seated which was expected. The music was cool, and the food came out pretty quickly as well! It cost about $56 between the 2 meals, and overall was a decent visit. We would definitely visit again!
