I always enjoy coming to this mall! It's so fun to walk around. There are so many different stores and plenty of selections at the food court. I come here often with my friends or just to go clothes shopping or gift shopping for loved ones! Also, I'm thankful for their clean bathrooms and approachable, kind security.

Beautiful mall that has been around for a very long time. It has gone through many incarnations through my lifetime... From an open air strip mall to being a fantastic enclosed mall with a beautiful central area for all types of events. The food court has also gone through some inviting changes. No more are the days of food kiosks like Orange Juilius or Creole Cottage (I miss those). As time passes change happens to keep up with the trends. Lakeside is a solid example of keeping itself up to date so that the people come to shop or just to meet friends for beignets and café au lait at Café du Monde or for a visit to the food court for whatever you may want to eat. Absolutely beautiful inside and out.

School shopping with our youngest daughter the day before she started 7th grade at her school. JC Penney had the exact items we needed to complete her wardrobe, our cashier, I believe her name was "Carolyn" 🤔 but not positive, in "the new checkout area" of the children's dept was absolutely amazing, very helpful in making sure we took advantage of the stores discounts and extremely courteous❣️ She was the icing, on our already great day❣️🙏🏼💯
