Great food, drinks, staff and atmosphere. Away from the hustle and bustle Canal and Bourbon Street, but still lovely, warm and welcoming! Thanks for James the mixologist for teaching me about Mezcal!!

Came across this place after searching for gluten free options in NOLA. It was really good food, but I thought it was overpriced for the amount of food you get. You also have to pay for chips and salsa, which I found it bit annoying. But all in all, I didn't get sick and that's always a plus for my condition.

This is a phenomenal spot that my friend and I stumbled upon! The service is phenomenal and the owners spent a bunch of time talking with us throughout the evening. Everyone is so knowledgeable and passionate about the food, drinks, mezcal, and culture, and it comes shining through. Excellent vegetarian options, too! Definitely check this hidden gem out!

The hospitality, food, and craft cocktails were excellent! The food was incredibly fresh. This small business also gives back to the local community. Visit them if you are in Nola. Locally owned and the owners are really sweet.

Very nice vegan options, I loved the cauliflower tacos, it was absolutely delicious, light, fresh, very flavorful! And vegan ceviche was also good! The regular Carne asada tacos was super tasty! I highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Upscale modern Mexican food served small plate style. All of the food was under salted otherwise prepared well. Would go again to taste different tequila and mezcal offerings. Excellent service.

I found Espiritu to be a fun place to eat. The decor is lively and well done. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is good. They have a wide variety of Latin American dishes and a full cocktail bar. I really liked the fish tacos and the margarita.

Wonderfully inventive, complex flavors, and delicious food! This lovely spot in the warehouse district serves up delectable cuisine from different areas of Mexico. Their tacos run the gamut from more coastal, baja style tacos to central Mexican offerings. But the breakout star was definitely the Huitlacoche quesadilla which was just packed with great depth of flavor. My partner and I are fairly picky about our Mexican food owing to the fact that we've both experienced amazing versions of it from California to Texas. Most spots in New Orleans fall well short of the bar. Not this place! Run, don't walk, to Espiritu!

The atmosphere was amazing, waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious. My bf was like who eats Mexican while visiting New Orleans (my choice). After, he was like that was awesome. We loved the authentic Mexican food therefore it will be on my must places to eat while in town. Loved it 5 stars!!! Oh and they had vegetarian options my bf is vegetarian, I didn’t take pics of his food however he loved it!

Delicious, creative meal in a place with a nice chill vibe. Cocktails were good. Everything we ate was yum. Don't miss out on ordering the pickled vegetables - unexpected and very tasty. It was easy to eat gluten free here. I didn't have them, but even the fried fish and shrimp for tacos are gluten free, as is everything that goes into the fryer.
