Such a classic New Orleans vibe!! Absolutely wonderful experience at Brennen’s Restaurant! Easily a 5-star spot! The service was not only friendly, but impressively quick. The food was delightfully flavorful, and the portion sizes were perfect. The table side flambé added an exciting touch to the meal—truly an amazing experience. Do yourself a favor and order the bananas foster; thank me later! Located in the heart of the French Quarter on Royal St., this restaurant exudes incredible history and charm. Highly recommend for a one of a kind culinary experience! And it’s decorated so lovely for Christmas! 🎄
We had such a beautiful breakfast experience at Brennan's. Food was excellent, both my husband and I thought we ordered the better dish, which is how it should be. He had the duck confit hash and I had the hussarde, both were delicious, and we split the pear blintz which was so yummy and not overwhelmingly sweet. The service was lovely, so helpful and accommodating, but not invasive. We loved Jaimie and Jordan who helped us. Can't recommend for breakfast or brunch highly enough!
Only note I have is that the decor is a little outdated/out of style. Nothing wrong, warm, and certainly clean and well maintained, just a little dated.
As a local, it took me long enough to visit this place. Their portions are not huge but it is gourmet food. It was definitely very filling though. The flavor of the food is top tier. Service is one of a kind. Even people who are not your server are beyond helpful and very attentive. Make sure to try the bananas foster.
Such a grand luxurious brunch with family! The staff was super friendly and made our experience worthwhile! The food was delicious especially the eggs Benedict! And who could leave without trying their famous banana foster?! That was a real treat! I even got cotton candy from the staff because I was super giddy when I saw another customer was celebrating their birthday! Can’t remember the last time I’ve had cotton candy-how nostalgic and fun!
We have eaten at Brennan’s Restaurant on Royal Street several dozen times. The food is always very good. The presentation is great. All of the staff are polite and the service is attentive and friendly. We love the interior furnishings and though weather permitted us using the courtyard it is also a special treat. We find this to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in the City.
Fantastic restaurant in New Orleans. Very reasonably priced fine dining experience. The Open-Faced Omelette, the Eggs Benedict, and the Banana Foster were all excellent!
In addition, the entire layout of the space was gorgeous! Would highly recommend checking it out!
Words cannot describe how wonderful of an experience my friend and I had here. The food alone is praiseworthy! We managed to come here for brunch twice (that’s how good it is.)
A change in plans led us to Brennan’s for my boyfriend breakfast brunch and we were impressed!!! The service is so fast and professional. They went above and beyond to recognize we were celebrating a birthday and overall were just on top of everything. Our server was so sweet and really contributed to our amazing experience. Food was good, although small plates (to be expected at a place like this). Banana pudding cake was amazingggg. Must try!!!
We were lucky to get walk in seats for Sunday brunch, but very glad we did. Thoroughly enjoyed the eggs St Charles. Also don't forget to have the bananas Foster before you go.
What a special experience! Thank you to the staff at Brennan’s - particularly Terrie - for making my entry into 30 a special day! We had brunch with the Oysters J’aime, Eggs Houssarde, Breton Buckwheat Crepe, and the Banana’s Foster. Their espresso martini has a delicious touch of chicory that felt so sweetly like New Orleans. They brought out a beautiful, pink cotton candy “cake” with candles & a special gift! Not only was this one of the best meals I’ve ever tasted, but the experience was unforgettable.
