Italian Pie

Nice place to get a fast and delicious lunch!.... I got the calzone and salad lunch special, and it was delicious! the chicken Florentine calzone that they served me was big, and with a super fresh salad that was excellent!... I'm definitely going back there if I need a quick lunch again!... Also, their prices are really reasonable! I loved this place!

Well damn! Just what I needed after a long night in the quarters. They're open super late. Personal pan pizza is not on the menu but I got one. It was a little dark on the edges but it was quite tasty! The dough is thick. Not very heavy on the cheese. My friend ordered pasta. It's a go to spot for sure when looking for something to eat, late night, downtown New Orleans. Dine in, carry out and delivery is available through door dash and Uber eats. I would normally post pictures of the food, but I ate half of it in the car LOL

We ordered in tonight after a long day out. Ordered just a simple pepperoni pie and some bourbon wings. This was probably one of the best pizzas I have eaten. The dough was crisp, yet soft and chewy. The wings, all flats, cooked to perfection and the glaze was amazing. If you want some good pizza after a day of great Creole food and walking, well, you can't go wrong here.

In the area and thought we would try it. Kind of off the main path a bit for us but worth the short walk. Staff very friendly. Food came out very timely and fresh. Pizza was great with thinner crust and good amount of toppings. The garlic cheese bread was good too! The dining area was pretty clean and welcoming.

The fact that this place is open till like 4 am is a huge plus, especially after being on Frenchman or bourbon all night. This pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had in a while . Visited twice during my 5 day stay lol a small size is perfect to share between you & your partner . We also ordered the Buffalo wings. The Buffalo sauce they use is really good!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the food the salad was truly amazing along with the garlic bread some of the best garlic bread ever it actually look like a personal size pizza without the sauce but the taste was very garlicky phenomenal my favorite. I have to say the location is quite dingy it could certainly use a good scrub, not the type of place I typically dine in, but I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and be open-minded. I would certainly go back there. I ate there twice in the two days that I was there, so that says a lot. It was really hard to get delivery thankfully their hotel was right across the street so we were able to walk twice one of those times was in the pouring thunderstorm that happened to be going on but it was so worth it. If you're in New Orleans, make sure you make it to the original Italian pie. The customer service was superb, very friendly, and welcoming it was almost like being around family. My husband and I just had dinner here and it was delicious! The girl who took our order, Jessica, was very friendly. Our food came out within 20 mins (small "Meatlovers" pizza, BBQ wings & mozzarella sticks) 😋 We're from California and already added this to my 'favorites' for when we come back again.

Arrived after midnight to my hotel and concierge gave me easy directions, right around the block. Got The Italian combo which is basically your standard Supreme. Snatched some pralines for dessert and a 2L. My hotel has a kitchen. This pie fed me for 3 days. Pleasant and fun atmosphere. Very friendly staff.

While walking to the post office we saw this place. Having already decided on pizza earlier we stopped by afterward. It looks like a hole in the wall restaurant from the outside. Inside is cozy with just enough space to handle foot traffic. Every was very friendly! The pizza down to the crust was supper delicious! Just enough sauce, pepperoni, and cheese. We’d highly recommend you stop in if visiting, or in the area!
