My hubby had a shrimp po boy and OH BOY!! He loved it. Raved about it. The service was FANTASTIC. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and personable. The restaurant has plenty of space and is nostalgic. I would definitely recommend Parkway. Oh, and the bread pudding...it had raisins. I hate raisins, so I can't provide an objective opinion because I had to pick them out.

So glad I finally hit this place!!! The James Brown was absolutely incredible and would recommend the French bread pudding. The gulf shrimp and roast beef were also good but outshined by the James brown. Lots of seats and a cool vibe!

The bike ride was worth it. Came by at 11:30am and things were just picking up with customers coming for an early lunch. The gulf stream shrimp po boy is amazing. I got the small. If you're extra hungry, then the large is your ideal size. Really glad I came here for lunch during my visit.

Very large sandwiches. The Poboy options here are not small, they're robust. If you want a sandwich that's overflowing then this is the place to go. It's a bit out of the way from most places, but it's a great pre/post airport destination. Get the fried shrimp, don't be lured into the oyster (fine, but not great).

I had the alligator sausage PB with a side of chicken and sausage jambalaya. The atmosphere was 💯. My meal was great. 4 stars because I asked for my poboy with lettuce and tomatoes, and they didn't make it like so. It was a bit after noon when I showed up and was busy, food was out promptly.

Absolutely five star place. The Parkway Bakery and Tavern has survived over one hundred years for a reason. The food is great, the staff are friendly and helpful and the place is a lot of fun. At least two full bars here but the PoBoys are the real star. A great New Orleans PoBoy. A large free parking lot and you can call in and they will deliver to your car.

You MUST go see the delightful and saucey ERIC the bartender and Jack of all trades 😉 up at the bar and dining room area in Jay's place at parkway and enjoy some food and a drink. Don't temp him with a good time because he will surely not let you down one bit! Great service, amazing vibes and someone who TRULY will make you go away with a happy day! He is LITERALLY THE BEST!!

Some of the best poboys in the city at great prices. Multiple ordering counters so the lines and food move quickly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a small bar area too. The poboys are huge. A full size is definitely enough for two people.

This place has incredibly good food, and plentiful. I had the oyster po boy, no bread, so it came out as fried oysters and a salad which I loved! And their sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. Fresh, hot crispy on the outside with a steamy soft, sweet center. I'm from out of town and will be sure to come back here for several meals the next time I'm in New orleans. Good food, good prices, good service, had a good time

We got us a 50/50 barbecue shrimp and fried oyster. Classic PoBoy, a bit outside of walking distance from the French Quarter. This place is famous and is worth trying if you like PoBoys. The folks are very kind and it's a good place to spend a weekend afternoon.
