Drunken Burrito

Great experience! The best quacamole I’ve ever had! And I’ve had alot of Guac! Great tacos and great service! The owner, Mathew, personally greeted us and constantly made sure we were completed satisfied! Also has a back patio! We went in the middle of the day on a Monday.. just wish we were there long enough to hang there that night, which I’m sure would have been a great time! Thanks for everything! Have already made it known to friends that’s the place to go!

The food was good but, simple. Nothing that's going to make you go WOWZA!! HOWEVER!!! The staff is WONDERFUL! The Cocktails or shots or however you choose to drink their daily specials are fabulous. When went. I was drinking very generously mixed 5.00 crown and diet Cokes. My kids (don't judge it's New Orleans and it was a Saturday and I had to take them with me to the grocery store I needed to prepare)totally enjoyed their food. Esp. my 8 year old who eats cereal, Willie's, or taco Bell. They happily made him a "Taco Bell" burrito. Tightly rolled to his finicky preference with enchilada red sauce and it was a on point. The little food critic scarfed it down and declared it to be the perfect Taco Bell Burrito. So enjoy, it's a great family place with a lovely courtyard and friendly patient staff. I imagine it's also a fabulous evening place for adults. I plan to find out. I only didn't give five stars because, I was craving Tacos sooooo bad and finally found a Mexican restaurant. They only had softshell tacos. My heart was shattered. The Cocktails helped ease the pain but, I'm still searching for my perfect taco.

This place has food?!?! Went in here while vacationing in New Orleans in July. Packed out front, packed inside. The alcoholic slushees sneak up on you. If you want to stay cool, head towards the middle and the back patio, there are more fans, and a smaller bar in the back. Awesome music. Friendly folks, had a really nice time

Great atmosphere, more upscale than most joints on Bourbon. Good mix of clientele, old, young, college, professional. Food was awesome and we highly recommend the pulled pork sliders, crawfish quesadillas and chicken wings. Matt, the owner is amazing and goes out of his way t make sure you have a great time. Places change over time and like any good spirit, Rita's gets better the more it's around. Cheers!!
