This is a bar...a neighborhood bar. Don't expect elderflower or egg white in your cocktails...would u like beer or vodka? What's great is that Kermit Ruffins plays trumpet every Tuesday night. It's an intimate venue with lots of locals and more tourists have been showing up lately. They don't serve food but usually 3 or 4 yummy food trucks park outside and Bullets allows you to bring the food into the bar so it all works out. The BBQ truck, complete with 4 mobile smokers, made truly great pulled pork, soul-satisfying Mac & cheese and good ribs & brisket. People talk smack about the neighborhood. It's totally safe.
VERY no-frills.... You won't come here just to eat, you'll eat here because you came for the music and got hungry. Tuesday and Sunday nights from about 6 or 7 p.m. ending anywhere from 10 p.m. till sometime after midnight. And maybe starting on Saturday (blues night) i was told. B.B.Q from grills set up out in front of the bar or out on the neutral ground. Just walk up and see what they are serving. I have had ribs, sausage and the biggest boneless pork chop on white bread sandwich ever.
Went out for a drink after the jazz fest, friendly atmosphere, staff was great the music was fantastic 👌
Visited from little Rock Arkansas and had the time of my life. It was such a fun experience. The band came from off the street with live entertainment. And the dance atmosphere was fantastic.
Best bar in the big easy. Staff is WONDERFUL and the music is sublime. If you visit new Orleans and don't get to bullets you blew it! And now the have excellent southern food!
Bartender was sweet.. lady cooking fish did her thing 👍🏿👍🏿.. bring a light jacket.. cause they definitely paid to push the AC .. will be cold if its not alot of ppl inside. But, they may be used to that, cause it was 100degrees outside lol
I'm not a big fan of bars and clubs, because I worked in clubs for so long, however I had so much fun here. The band was good, and the atmosphere was awesome. If you are in New Orleans on a Sunday night check them out.

I've been a bar fly and/or tourist all over the world + a connoiseur of concierge-ity—if you will—and Bullet's is by far the kindest, friendliest, most unassuming place I've ever had the pleasure of patronizing, and you should, too!
NICE place. My friend is a regular here, so she had to show us a good time while there.
Great but much too small! This is an extremely popular place & in desperate need of expansion. The Bands are attracting people (which is good) but we are walking on top of each other & I get paranoid in such closed environments.
Nice neighborhood bar. Jazz band on Friday night!
My girlfriend and I went to the sports bar after leaving the jazz festival, she had a Heineken beer and I had fruit punch with rum , it was different, but good, this is a nice place to visit when you visit New Orleans great people, atmosphere , music was fantastic and the owner was really down too earth, and has done a lot for his community 👌.
