Another home run on Magazine St. Walked here from home for lunch. The restaurant has a couple of outside tables on the porch. Inside....beautiful, clean decor. A couple of TV's were on, but it wasn't noisy here. Smiling, happy server came to the table. I ordered by number, because ....its easier than speaking Vietnamese, lol. THE FOOD: The #5... Gi Cun, Fresh spring rolls w/fresh shrimp & pork. A very tasty, fresh bite for $4.95. The see- through wrap shows shrimp, but its cut so thin that you taste it as an afterthought to the greens and herbs. Did not taste pork. The peanut sauce was silky and lovely. A great appetizer. The #54..Ph Chín Beef soup w/brisket 7.25 (Sm) 8.25 (Lg). I had the small size, which is plenty. A plate of fresh basil, sprouts, jalapenos and lime is brought in prep for the pho. The Pho is light, a little oily, and a lot of flavor. The vermicelli noodles are light. I added sprouts, basil, and jalapenos and let it steep a bit. Chopsticks for noodles and sprouts and brisket, one bite...delicious. Light, flavorful, summer. They also offer a Pho Challenge for $50. 2 lbs of meat and 2 lbs of noodles in a giant bowl with broth. Eat it in an hour, and YOU WIN!! Looks like fun. I recommend this place, and will try other menu offerings.

Really good pho! I was surprised to find this level of good pho in this area. The spring rolls were fresh, big, delicious and a healthy amount of the sauce to go with. The roll almost didn't need the pork in it. The pho came out hot, flavorful and fresh tasting. I highly recommend. A bonus they have fountain soda here, no cans.

I have had a takeout menu sitting in my magazine basket for a few months now, but did not dine at this astonishing nook until today-hands down, one of the best lunches I've had in my long New Orleans residency. The #53 bowl of pho, beef broth with meatballs, is the best I've ever had-balanced in flavors and textures, light, bright, slightly spicy and totally satisfying. The biggest surprise was the very best Vietnamese iced coffee I have ever had; served in the traditional manner to richen and steep at your table and poured over ice, the rich layer of condensed milk hiding at the bottom under the robust, perfect coffee. Friendly staff, pleasant space. I already want to go back-while still full from my first trip.

This place is literally hidden in plain sight but worth the search. An unassumingpastel green converted shotgun hiding amongst others. A keen observer may notice the lettering of the restaurants name hiding in an unexplainable waterfall scene which overwhelms the entire barely noticeable sign. Once inside service is quick and attentive and the expansive Vietnamese menu is great. The numbered entrees add a touch of casual to an otherwise casual place but are convenient to the Vietnamese pronunciation impared like myself. I have yet to find anything I have not liked here. Give the beef stew a try for something a little different.

The beef pho tastes very nice. The place itself is casual and the service good. There's parking right around the area on Magazine St. They also have outside tables on their deck to eat outside.

Best pho I've had in New Orleans so far! The spring rolls are amazing as well. Many options and the meat is never dry and always flavorful. If you'd like an alcoholic beverage, just BYOB!

Been looking for a good pho place in Uptown, and I finally found it! I got the traditional spring rolls (fresh and delicious), a bowl of pho with all the meats (awesomely flavorful broth and plenty of fixings), and the most delicious Thai tea.

I had brisket pho, shrimp and pork spring rolls and a Vietnamese coffee. Affordable, amazing food and friendly service. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This is our new Vietnamese choice in NOLA! The service is great and the food is even better. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are really good. We got sweet teas, and the lady mixed up jasmine iced tea and sweetened it for us by the glass, so they were amazingly accommodating for my southern children who wanted sweet tea in a not very sweet tea environment. I ordered the sweet iced coffee and it was just the pick up I needed for our day walking around in the garden district.
