Arana Taqueria Y Cantina

We didn't spend much time here, it was mid-afternoon we were looking for a place to sit and relax and simply have a cocktail and beer. The place was quiet and the bartenders were friendly as can be. We sat at the bar. Unfortunately I can't tell you whether their food was good or not. And I'm an expert on the regions and Cuisine of Mexico. Sorry we had just had lunch. But I would give it a go if I had more time. We did hit happy hour! And happy hour in was. The pricing was very reasonable and worth the stop. Give it a try.

Omg! The food is good and the drinks are amazing! I'm pescetarian and found many food options to select. They even made alterations to fit my diet! This place is nice and cozy for a date and it's also laid back for a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere is lovely and the server's take pride in their crafts. Did I mention there's aTequila Society?

Came in on Sunday and it was busy, got a seat right at the bar, with high tops open. Bartender was very polite, fast and helpful while assisting almost everyone else on the floor. Food was delicious, shrimp flautas them the amazing torta ahagado? Forget the spelling but damn good. Pineapple and jalapeno Marg was very good as well. Will be coming back again and again.

A creative and delicious menu at this full-bar cantina. Friendly service. Great margaritas and cocktails. But it’s the food that sets Araña apart. The queso fundido is made with grilled Oaxaca cheese and house-made chorizo. There are a dozen kinds of tacos along with burritos, fajitas and other items.

The service was great and the food was even better! I absolutely love the feel of magazine street so to have a nice Mexican Restaurant that's delicious and affordable is great. I recommend going during Happy Hour because ALL the drinks and tacos are half off. My favorite taco was the Southwestern Fried Chicken Taco paired with the champagne margarita (they literally put a tiny bottle of champagne into the margarita!)

Amazing happy hour, lots of fun margaritas to choose from, and DELICIOUS tacos. Definitely give the open faced tamales a try!! haven't had anything there that i didn't like. I especially love the pineapple, jalapeño, cilantro margarita and the spicy watermelon margarita as well! Give them a try for sure.
