One of my fav restaurants!! Always something new and delicious

This restaurant is exceptional. Great decor, great staff, great food. Go have a fabulous unique and special dinner - it’s an old school experience and it’s great. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

First time in last night. Creative, varied menu, reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

I stopped in on a whim. This place is an absolute hidden gem!
The menu changes every week so it's a different experience constantly. The best day to go is Sunday.
LOVED the coconut sticky rice with cherries.

There are three things I do when I go to New Orleans and eating here is one of them. Thanks again for an excellent food experience. The lasagna was fabulous and loved the cheesecake. See you next time!

Excellent place, a little off the beaten path but the food is soooo good! Kind of hipster junk store decor, New American, farm to table style food, small but creative menu. Anytime I'm staying in the Bywater I come here.

What a great evening at Suis Generis. The server/bartender is an incredibly kind soul - open, authentic, warm. We connected immediately. The drinks were delicious (and strong) - I had the housemade chili lime-ade with bourbon. Food was good - small plates are small, so if you have an appetite, get a larger plate. The atmosphere was super chill, and like other places I’ve experienced in NOLA, everyone is so friendly and generous with their kindness. So glad I tried this place.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here last night- and it was perfect. We had our first date there last year, and have since returned to celebrate each of our birthdays there since. The food is always fantastic, the service is as well- and knowing it was a special occasion, they took extra care of us. We shared 3 small plates and each were wonderful- and plenty of food- we never made it to dessert, sadly. Highly recommend, if you’re in the neighborhood.

My absolute 1st choice resturtant in Louisiana and maybe across the U.S. The menu is truly updated every week and is always fresh, delicious, and creative.
The drinks are always on point and the atmosphere is very casual and inviting.
This is a place for the open/adventureous eater. I generally go here with 2-3 friends and order 90% of the menu. This food is not for everyone! But for those it is for, it is one of the most unique food experiences in the city.
To top it off, 90% of the menu normally brings us to about $110-$150 and thats for 2-4 people to eat. EXCELLENT bang for the buck!

This is an eclectic a little eatery in the Bywater district of New Orleans. We ended up here after the power went out for several blocks around our intended dinner spot. We were directed here by the locals from that restaurant and needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised! They offer several craft cocktails as well as a selection of bottled/canned beers. I had the Tiki Farm Basil Curry, which is a vegan green curry with tofu that was well prepared and delicious! There were a couple of other vegan and vegetation options on the menu as well. A friend ordered the Vasco de Gama Bouillabaisse and enjoyed it, but said he was not sure about the flavor combo, which was a lemon grass infused, Asian leaning concoction. My daughter had the Farmer's Salad and the Heritage Berkshire Pork Chop accompanied by a Burmese-spiced coconut based sauce. Both were fresh and delicious. Our only complaint was that the menu was a bit scattered. Italian mezze, Thai curry, farmer's salad, pork chop, Portuguese bouillabaisse, Asian fish cakes. I understand the whole fusion movement in dining, but not sure that they had it quite right. That said, I would definitely give this place another try. It seems that the menu changes and I would love to see what they come up with next.
