Cool little neighborhood Irish pub. It was literally next door to the Airbnb that I was staying at. Made it super convenient. Bartenders were friendly. Cool vibe. Mostly locals from around the neighborhood. They have food but was there only to drink. Would visit again next time I’m in Mid-City.

This is the best pub in Mid City, no scratch that in New Orleans... You know what, it's the best pub in Louisiana and quite possibly America (that I've been to). Finn McCool's isn't a "bar" that calls itself a pub, it's a PUB, the very definition of origins of the word "Public House". You always feel welcome here. Whether going to watch a Premier League game at 6am or a Friday night knees up, it's a beacon, a social hub that knows how to throw a party. Plus it serves my drink and crisps of choice. PS, yes, this Irish Pub knows how to pour a Guinness, and to me it's the best outside of the Emerald Isle.

Neighborhood pub with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Full menu with Irish and American style options. Food is great, but a little pricey. Draws large crowds for soccer matches.

The employees here at Finn McCool's are great. They treated me like I was a regular and have been coming there for years. It makes you/ me feel like you are there to enjoy yourself as well as have fun. The food they offer is soooo good. They try to meet all your needs as well as your taste buds. I truly recommend this place to anyone that lives/ visits here. They also offer water for anyone walking by or even if your 4 legged friends need a drink. They are willing to help with recommendations for you to go/ visit. I want to say "Thank you to everyone that works there and wish them all a healthy future".

In town from NJ and stopped in to watch the champions league match for Liverpool vs Madrid. While the outcome of the game was less than ideal, I highly recommend this quintessential Irish pub! I had an opportunity to meet the owner Shaun who was very approachable and welcoming. Pub has all the normal pub fare and we tried the garlic pretzel bites which were great! It had a nice vibe as a great local pub!

Food here is amazing 🤩🤩🤩 I loved it so much that I took some back home to Dallas. Boudin balls and Irish coffee are must try, you get huge 3 balls for 5 bucks. The atmosphere here is always so energetic and positive. If there is a soccer game going on you can see people cheering and enjoying themselves.

Nice Irish pub with food and lots of outdoor seating. Try the Scotch egg (almost runny in the muffle like I enjoy it). The Brussels sprouts were surprisingly delicious and Reuben were great too. Come on Monday night for the pub quiz!

Loved! No clue why I've never been to this place but I'm glad I finally did. Great atmosphere, service, stiff drinks and nice variation in the bar fare. The Brussel sprouts were 🔥. Highly recommend, especially for fans of soccer and rugby, which they regularly show.

The Air BNB that we rented was literally a block away from this Pub. It is definitely a local spot, so if you aren’t in to hanging out with the locals, you’re better off somewhere else. The staff, the food, the drinks were all amazing! The food is paid separately, so be ready for that. The staff is amazing and spot on with recommendations and friendly. We became part of the local crowd in a week’s time. Absolutely will make this place a priority when we have a return trip. And, definitely try their iced coffee and a hot toddy.
