Party dive bar. Great place to grab a drink while everyone else is in the more club like spots. Bartender was friendly and fast. Crowd was having a great time. Love all the little decorative details in this spot. Irish because they have and Harp but don't expect anything else that's not domestic. Bathroom exists but use at own risk. If you are hanging in this area you probably don't mind just happy to have one. Overall I liked Boondocks, just a solid small bar with solid vibes.

Absolutely amazing. We’ve searched out this bar the last two times we’ve been down here and have been treated like family every time. I will walk all the way down bourbon just to get to this bar. Love love love. Mechelle is that best!!

We went here to watch the Saints play. Great location and the crowd was awsome. They had a free burrito bar, free shots for kick-off, and Miller Lite Girls gave free beer, t-shirts and a raffle.

We stopped in here to check out the place because my wife and I are huge fans of the movies. They did a good job with the decor and atmosphere. Everything you would expect except for the stars of the shows being there. Lol! Drinks were reasonably priced and the crowd was fun. We e enjoyed our time spent here and would definitely return.

What a fun bar! A favorite for locals. Good drinks at great prices and not too crowded. Fantastic service, and the bartender was a tremendous conversationalist.
The bathroom is a little sketchy and the door didn't lock behind me, but otherwise this was one of my favorite watering holes in the city.

Great staff and drinks...right off Bourbon Street so if you're looking for a good bar minus the hustle and bustle of it all, this is it!!!

The best friendly neighborhood bar. We could actually hear and talk to our neighbors. We dashed in to cool off and get away from all the loud music... stayed to chat with all our new friends. Great place.

After eight years this still holds the title of my go-to bar in New Orleans. Everyone is welcome and each and every one of the bartenders is wonderful. They make you laugh, feel at home and get all the clientele to engage with each other!

Met the owner and some of her patrons, good people, great place. Also want to point out that there is an O'Brian near by...but they don't have Guinness on tap. So for a real Irish spot, go onto to Boondocks !!!
