Casual atmosphere with attentive service. Nice cocktails and small plates. Not too noisy even when busy so you can have a conversation and hear your table.

Lunch was delicious. The Biurbon Fried Chicken Thighs were sooooo light and delicious for being fried- the sauce is perfectly seasoned and the flavor goes great with the greens and the Mac and Cheese. The BBQ shrimp were also delicious from the one that I tried. Reservations are always recommended but some miss this gem hidden away.

Fantastic restaurant. Quality to price is fantastic. With plates in the $18-30 range instead of the $40-50 range. Yes, it is out of the way. Yes it is out of the crowds. Fantastic little restaurant. And the service was stellar. We had our little children there on a slower Thursday night and they were more than patient, they were joyful and loving. If we return to NOLA we will return to The Rosedale. Thank you Rosedale.

Service was great and it was dog friendly! They let us sit out on the patio with a heater in the winter with our pup and even gave her a water bowl! Food was delicious too. The garlic bread is simple but absolutely delicious.

This is a quintessential neighborhood restaurant with incredible food. I liked the decor, the service was very friendly (love you, Rosanne!) and I can't wait to to come back and try more of the menu. Photo is of the duck pastrami sandwich--be sure you order it with the gruyere.

Popped in alone for brunch and ended up seated at the bar. It’s cozy, welcoming and delicious! I took the streetcar to the end of the line and walked about five minutes. Totally doable but you can tell it’s more car friendly. FYI I would also spring for an Uber to come here!

If your looking for something unique, this is the place to be. Coming from the PNW you cant get food like this. The chef has an amazing menu and I wish I could try more. I went with the duck sandwich and it was amazing. Prices are awesome. My server was solid and gave food recommendations for other nice spots. And its a beautiful location. One of my fav places in NOLA! And also one of very few places that I've been back more than 3 times in NOLA! Food is amazing (and affordable). My favs are chicken liver pate plate and duck pastrami sandwich (highly recommend adding gruyere cheese). I also tried their meatloaf sandwich and fried chicken thighs, which were also scrumptious.
