Located on the third floor of the Ritz Carlton, this restaurant has a great menu of classic Louisiana fare served in a classy setting. Immediately adjacent to the Davenport Lounge, the space has a large skylight which brightens up the room to supplement the three chandeliers. For breakfast, I had the crawfish creole omelette and it was superb. Staff is super friendly and would highly recommend.
Great environment for meetings, quiet brunch, lunch, dinner… atmosphere is great. Staff all super friendly. Byron was a great bartender, very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. He also knows about great places to visit around the area. He kept the drinks coming and his recommendations on food were spot on! Will definitely be back!!!
We stopped here as most local restaurants were full, and yes, it's the Ritz, so you can't go wrong. So good!
Quiet, fine dining atmosphere. Excellent service. Gluten-free options... lots.
Oysters Rockefeller were yum! Seriously good. The scallops over risotto were fantastic. I'm super happy with our entire experience. Highly recommend.
I came here for my birthday and had a great time the waitress Chantell gave the best service the whole staff were very sweet and attentive... I also got a birthday gift was very gracious of that... the scenery was beautiful and the jazz band was great

We visited M bistro Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Hotel for lunch. We came to New Orleans on a weekend trip for business, but it was also our anniversary. I’m always leary of upscale places because I’m just not into that for various reasons. However, my husband loves going to nice places. I’m always looking at the service industry because so many places stink at service now.
This place was AMAZING! Lataria was an excellent server. She made the best recommendation recommendations on the menu (I’m sure all the food is delicious). We had such a nice conversation with her. She made our experience so enjoyable. Ryan (maybe a manager of some sort because he ask how our appetizers were) was so very nice to talk with us. This was the best place we have eaten on this trip and the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in on our trips.
My husband had the Blackened Redfish and I had the Chicken Sandwich. I highly recommend both. For appetizers we had the flatbread with shrimp and the BBQ Shrimp and Grits they were amazing. The presentation of the food was beautiful! One of the things I know is that if it doesn’t look good, it’s hard to eat, so that’s such an important aspect for me.
This will definitely be our first choice when we come back.

Reveillon dinner M Bistro at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans was so delightful. It is one of my favorite experiences in the city. A lovely performance by Jeremy Davenport and band. You have to walk through the Davenport lounge to reach the M Bistro.
The hotel had beautiful decorations from the front door and beyond. The lobby is one of my favorites during the holidays with a golden tree, branches/vines sprawling and covering the ceiling and glass ornaments dangling.
This year they have a gingerbread streetcar with seriously beautiful detail! The courtyard is also decked out with holiday lights and cheer, and is a lovely spot to sit/sip with friends.
My wife and i came down to new Orleans for our anniversary and was trying to find a perfect dinner spot to suprise her. I came across a few and reserved but then cancelled when i found M bistro. It had really good reviews so i knew it would be a perfect choice. When we arrived they were so nice and polite and gave us a booth thagmt felt more like a personal small room it was perfect. Our server was very nice and wish us a happy anniversary. The food was so good and the waitress brought us some beinets with Happy Anniversary written with chocolate. We were amazed at this place and we will definitely return!
The prices are reall great as well!
Ate a late night dinner with my bestie during our visit to New Orleans. Had the strawberry walnut salad and shrimp poor boy. The portion was generous and so delicious! Great service and the living room atmosphere was so comfortable and relaxing!
I came here for my birthday and it was amazing. I felt so special. The breakfast buffet is worth every penny and everything can be made to order. There was so much food available that I was conflicted on what to get. I need to go back and try some things I was too full to eat. The bacon was perfect. I hate undercooked bacon. I like it crunchy but not burnt and M Bistro has it down to perfection.
Went their for buffet breakfast wanted to have Avocado toast they said they were out of it .
Everything was hot, food was good i got the fresh beignets and we enjoyed it very much .
