To start, we stumbled upon this place on one of the only summer nights with a breeze and scored a seat on the balcony. On top of that, a fantastic woman was playing the electric violin ( or a comparable instrument ) just across the street. Our waitress Arielle was a joy and made great suggestions. We had the fried gator, charbroiled oysters w bacon, eggplant chips, tour of Nola. Every single thing was fantastic and can’t wait to go back!

Excellent service. Delicious baked shrimp tortellini. Server went out of his way to get our picky little one an order of bacon at dinner time. We loved the atmosphere. Will definitely recommend to fellow Texans.

We visited French Quarter on Christmas Day. A few restaurants opened and this is one of them. We sat at the bar. The girl serving the bar was very nice. We wait some time for food but I think that because the day was super busy. The food was good and in a good size. Many people tried their raw oysters though we did not.

Imani was an excellent bartender and server. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing even though it was early I didn't feel like I wasn't on Bourbon Street. The Grits were excellent, perfect texture, the eggs were good but should be cooked with the cheeses not added afterwards. My Godfather was delicious but not the traditional one. They had their own versions. I had a chance to talk to one of the chefs Michael. If you are in the Nola and get a chance check out this place!

Oh my goodness this place was so amazing. I can't get over how good this was. 11 out of 10 for sure! We has the reddish and the shrimp tortellini. The sauce was creamy and butter. The redfish was seasoned perfectly! Also tried their red beans fantastic!! Best food we had in New Orleans!!!

So we stumbled upon this place after being placed on very lengthy waitlist for two other spots and I’m glad we checked them out (9/2). The spot itself gives the feel of classy hotel party. There was quite a bit of foot traffic so it could get loud at times. If you have nothing else, those crab claws were the truth!! And plentiful. I was able to share a good amount with everyone at the table and still have more left over. That lemon and garlic butter sauce was divine. I also shared the oyster tostadas with my friend. In my opinion, there was an overload on coleslaw that made it a bit overwhelming but we still enjoyed it. I also had the jambalaya *chefs kiss*! Huge shoutout to our server, Joseph. Very welcoming and accommodating.

Stopped by for lunch while visiting New Orleans. It was a great choice with a great view and great food. Here are some thoughts: Environment This space was huge. Tons of seating downstairs and seating upstairs with options to seat on the balcony. It's located right in the middle of the quarters and easy to access. When we were there it was plenty chill and relaxed, a beautiful space with great decor. Service The service was warm and welcoming. Our server made sure I had everything I needed and was very quick and efficient in providing service. Very friendly and made us feel like we were at home and not just visiting. Food and Drinks The food was pretty good. I had the gator poboy w/ fries and a side of hush puppies and my friends had the oysters. gator po boy and fries -- the gator po boy was great! I'm now a big fan of gator. So tasty and delicious and will easily fill you up. Loved it. The fries were pretty good and crispy with good flavor. hush puppies - They were decent. I can be particular about hush puppies so it probably just wasn't my preference. Overall Really enjoyed our time here. The food was good and I left curious to come back and try other things on their menu. Will definitely come back.

The BEST red beans and rice in New Orleans. My friends also loved the oysters here the most. The service is great, place is small but the food and service made up for it. We went there twice in the 4 days we were there. Must go!

We had our wedding reception dinner at Royal House this past Halloween. We came in like a wrecking ball with our second line behind us and our Grand Marshall walking us all the way into the restaurant. Royal House doesn’t take reservations, but the GM Manny along with our amazing server Tremaine accommodated our unexpected group of 16 immediately. Manny chatted up my husband for a good while and oversaw everything to make sure we were taken care of, while Tremaine was the most upbeat, energetic, jovial, and positive server I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The food was delicious and the overall vibe was superb. So much so that my husband and I decided to revisit a few days later. Michael was our server this visit and he was just as attentive and exuded professionalism and positivity. Royal House is always a must on any of our trips to the quarter, and will continue to be so. To Manny, Tremaine, and Michael, thank you for making our wedding/wedding trip and memorable one.

Really nice place with great view from the terrace, although the terrace is pretty narrow. Still plenty if room on the second floor. I got the food sampler - Taste of New Orleans - and it was amazing.

Absolutely loved it!!! The chargrilled oysters were to die for with plenty of other menu options to choose from as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The rum drinks were *chef’s kiss*, overall would recommend.

Not only are they open early for breakfast, but the service and food were top-notch. My omelette Acadiana was amazing. Added mushrooms and they were seared and amazing. The bottomless mimosas were excellent. The coffee is REAL coffee, not some American dirty water. Special shout-out to Ada on Thursday morning. She was attentive and made great suggestions. I felt taken care of without being smothered. Great view of the square. Will definitely come again.
