I had a great experience at Mena’s Palace. The fried catfish was divine, with delicious breading and a generous portion of fries on the side. The roast beef poboy was very tasty and juicy as well. The service was extremely friendly and warm. Our server answered all our questions and showed true southern hospitality. I would recommend Mena’s to anyone in the quarter looking for a good hearty Louisiana meal.

From the outside, Mena’s may not catch your eye. Inside, it is quaint, clean, with a lot of character. All the staff seem so friendly. We went twice this visit with Myra as our server. I don’t think you could find sweeter servers such as her or other staff there in all New Orleans. Our food was obviously freshly prepared. It is also a terrific value. It was very busy but still had a sense of calm present. The only downside is that the menu has so many options it is difficult to choose!

We love Mena’s every time we come to New Orleans this our go to place for breakfast. Prices are overly low and food is awesome. Service is Stellar🌟our server Jade was best waitress ever. She is a hard worker making everyone happy at breakfast. Love it!

Truly gracious service. The mini deep fried crab cakes were very good and the pecan pie as it should be, rich and gooey.

This place was packed but it was one of the few places near our hotel that we could get breakfast without joining a line. The service was surprisingly quick and we had no complaints about the food

This was a lovely little place that you would definitely walk past without noticing if you weren't looking. I stumbled across this place on my way to Jackson Square, and for the small venue, it was packed. Great service here, they work well with the limited space they have. The food was great as well. Top quality that cane out in a reasonable time even there being a full house. My server was great though I missed her name, she did have on some unique earrings sporting a fried egg on one and some toast on the other. If you find yourself here in the French quarter and are looking for a good meal in a historic district, I would suggest this place.

We really love Mena’s Palace because it’s a great old style breakfast and lunch restaurant. They do just a few things and do them well. Don’t look for fancy cuisine, just great straight forward breakfast and lunch favorites. They always offer good service, really good food and a reasonable price. Fortunately they also have a full bar, which is perfect for New Orleans.

The service at Mena's Place is truly exceptional. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that every customer has a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel like family at Mena's Place. And the food? It's simply outstanding. The gumbo is rich and flavorful, the jambalaya is perfectly seasoned, and the red beans and rice are a true New Orleans classic. Every dish is made with care and attention to detail, and you can taste the love that goes into each and every bite. But what really sets Mena's Place apart is the atmosphere. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a charming decor that reflects the spirit of New Orleans. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. In conclusion, if you're looking for authentic New Orleans cuisine and exceptional service, look no further than Mena's Place. From the moment you walk in, you'll feel like you're part of the family, and you'll leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. Highly recommended!

I was craving an early morning breakfast and decided to try Mena's. Have to say that it was exactly the kind of breakfast I was looking for, basic and very tasty. My mom and I ordered the ham & eggs plate with homemade potatoes and a breakfast sandwich with bacon and sausage. Both selections were very tasty and cooked just the way we like it. Good service and fair prices. Recommended!!!
