Such great food and a lively crowd. Very noisy so be prepared. The crab Yvonne was amazing, so was the bread pudding. Service was good. The steaks also looked amazing. It was a fun time.
Friday lunch in the main dining room is an experience like none other.
First off, the atmosphere is energetic and fun. The service is perfectly balanced, with few interruptions unless necessary for ordering or drink refills.
Personally, I felt the food was much better than some reviews and word-of-mouth led me to believe. Everything was hot and served very promptly after ordering.
The drinks were strong, and they were more than accommodating when it came to specific drink requests.
The chocolate pecan pie might be the best dessert I’ve ever had.
Probably the most fun I had in Nola! Was with a great group.
The food was on point. Atmosphere was amazing. Service was top-notch. Crazy expensive but worth it.

Don't let the jackets required for men dining dress code keep you away. This was an exemplary experience from when we first stepped into the restaurant until we departed. Everything we tried as an unqualified highly recommend item except the fried eggplant. With this dish they simply tried too hard (creating a complicated and just okay tasting ask of the diner - dip in béarnaise then powdered sugar then eat). Can't go wrong with Crab Yvonne or Crab Au Gratin. And the not on menu tabasco honey brussels sprouts were the best side we had our entire time in New Orleans! And they made sure to recognize our anniversary with well wishes and complimentary champagne!
We have eaten at Galatoire’s Restaurant more than any other restaurant in the city. We love that Galatoire’s is a very traditional New Orleans restaurant and has a very regular clientele. They do require gentlemen to wear jackets after 5 PM. Most repeat clients have their regular waiter. The food and service are always great and it is a lively atmosphere. The Galatoir’s 33 is a less formal restaurant next door. For those wishing for a more casual experience it is there for you.
The service was spot on. Our server new what when we needed more drinks and water top off. The food was out of this world. The oysters Rockefeller were spot on. My filet was to perfection. The cauliflower
au gratin were delicious. The Sazerac drinks were great. My granddaughter has a dairy food allergy. We were able to work with our waiter for her. Thank you
food and drinks were great and staff were very professional. it is a bit noisy, not only from the number of people dining here but also from outside since the restaurant is on a very busy street.
Oysters, Pompano Meuniere and buillabasse, all great. Jacket required, but no worries. If you don't have one because you like to travel light (like my case), they will provide you with a sport jacket
Had the best dining experience with Avo. Patient & kind waiter who made suggestions that were delish. We sat in the casual lounge & he took the time to chat with us.
Cons - dress code is enforced. Men are expected to wear coats in 30+ weather if you want to sit in the dining room.
Kenny's service was amazing. We asked for recommendations and he didn't miss. The food was great, our drinks were never empty and he offered go-to drinks proactively. Definitely recommend.
