This place did not disappoint. I was specifically looking for somewhere with good oysters and Mr. Ed’s didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious! Roy, our server, was great. Their Hurricane is a must.

We went to Mr Ed's just for the charbroiled oysters, based on a recommendation, and we weren't disappointed. The oysters were perfect. Light garlic butter, with thin parmesan crust. Delicious! We also had a bowl of their Creole Gumbo, which was so good. The service was quick and the staff were very polite and helpful. Mr Ed's is definitely worth a visit when in town.

The restaurant was extremely busy with a party of 25 upstairs who our waitress was handling by herself, despite this Brittany was extremely attentive, she allowed me to taste test two of the wines before deciding on one. When I couldn't finish my dinner the box she brought out included utensils that I wouldn't have had at my hotel (it's the little things).
On top of the extremely excellent service, the food was phenomenal. The Rockefeller oysters have destroyed my life and I will never recover. Highly recommended.

I like dining rooms here the most than another oyster bars in New orleans compared to Acme Oyster and Felix's. More light, felt more clean and very comfortable. The haft shell fresh oyster is fresh and very tasty like another famous oyster bar, but we like cocktail sauce at Filix's more. Very robust flavor. The service was very good.

Food was delicious. Oysters were yummy. Best gumbo i had while visiting. My only complaint is the white rice was mixed with uncooked rice pretty badly. It was throughout it.

What a delightful restaurant. The food is good and the service was the friendliest and most attentive of the restaurants we visited in Nola. We tried the Louisiana Crawfish Pies, the Creole Redfish, and the Creole Gumbo. All the dishes were well seasoned, piping hot, and the portions were generous enough for us to share. Our server, Scott W. (according the receipt) was an absolute delight. He was friendly, super attentive, and was kind enough to not only give us recommendations on places to visit, but also asked around to give us recommendations for a good slice of pecan pie - something we really wanted to try for some reason, but Mr. Ed's doesn't offer. If you can get a seat in the upstairs dining area, take it - it's a bit quieter upstairs and just a pleasant place to sit. It's a restaurant we'd visit again when we're in the area.

Our first experience on a Wednesday was simply amazing. Great service and amazing food. The oyster butter was to die for. We returned that Friday and it was a completely different experience. To our shock the oyster butter was not the same, no comparison to whomever made it on Wednesday. We sat at the bar again but it was a less friendly bartender. For such a great first experience we are not sure about returning

Cute little 2 story restaurant with super friendly and nice staff. There is probably always a line to get in though! We tried the fried alligator, the seafood platter, and the charbroiled oysters. I love raw oysters, and I'm not a big fan of cooked ones, BUT these charbroiled oysters were amazing!!! It comes with a piece of garlic bread, which was also very delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.
