As a local Driftwoods is an excellent place to get a great meal very reasonably priced and their food is fresh. Never had a bad meal there since they opened. I always bring out of town guests there. On a side note you can also eat at the bar and the bartender is excellent we eat at the bar a lot just for his service. He is very accommodating and makes dinner a pleasure
Phenomenal restaurant with phenomenal service. We went exploring for a lunch place and happened upon Driftwoods, much to our benefit. Lunch menu is one simple page, maybe 20 options. I got the lobster tacos, my wife got the fish tacos, and my parents got an assortment of the fried foods. The tacos were excellent, our sides of asparagus were fresh and perfectly grilled. The portions were plenty. The waitress, though quiet, checked in often and dealt with our daughters spilt water in stride without a second thought. Highly recommend this place for lunch.
Best breakfast buffet around. Made to order omelets and waffles plus all the other great breakfast items. Hashbrowns are very creamy and flavorful.
This was our first visit in a couple of years, and Driftwood's is as good as we remember it to be. Great seafood for a reasonable price. I had blackened grouper and shrimp and my wife had salmon. Both were amazing.They take such good care of you while you are here. They will remain on our favorites list.
We did not know about this restaurant until someone referred us there for my husband's birthday. They have a birthday special that allows you to order the entree of your choice for free! He ordered the broiled platter and I ordered the fried platter. Both were delicious! Prices were good and food was plentiful! Staff members and customers were friendly!Great experience!
We are locals and are always trying places in the area. This is a restaurant is one of our favorites.
Dinner is good, the potatoes are at room temperature, but still have a good taste. I'm not a fan of the tuna salad and crackers they bring when you sit down, just a little plain, but our waitress did offer hush puppies, which we enjoyed! The blackened chicken and shrimp, vegetables medley are delicious. My husband enjoyed his steak and mac and cheese. Don't forget to order the hushpuppies!! It was about $52, before tip for the two of us.
We did return for their breakfast buffet and it is completely worth it! It has all the breakfast staples, plus you can order a custom omlet and specialty waffles. It was 13.50, which includes the buffet, the special menu and our drink was included. There is a kids pricing, very young kids was around $4 and 7 to 11 are 7.99. Great breakfast and not too busy. Prices are before tip.
Food is great! Price is even better. People are friendly and sweet. Definitely a good spot for seafood and steak. They do have a kids menu as well! Or enjoy some drinks at the bar. Peach Beach is my favorite drink they have
This place has such good food, very attentive staff and there was no wait. We ate here twice while we were on vacation in May 2023. Highly recommend.

Had all you could eat crab legs and they were great... Crab came out hot and didn't take long to get them.... We also had the chicken and shrimp pasta and it was great as well... The service was wonderful... The restraint itself was a little dated and the bathrooms could use a remodel but everything else was amazing!
I wanted seafood seeing how I am visiting the beach.
The wait at other places are crazy, this place, not an hour plus wait. We may have waited 30, maybe.

The waitress never came around to fill up or cups We were there for about an hour, and a 1/2 had no refills. I think that could have gave you a little bit more for your money. As far as portion wise.

Lunch special was great for $6.99. I had a chicken sandwich with fries and broccoli salad. Someone else ordered teriyaki salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli salad....said it was delicious(under $12.). They have an early bird special and senior special along with kids menu. Going to have dinner there sometime soon so I can give a review on that too! Waitress was very pleasant and checked on us several times.
