This casual seafood restaurant is amazing! We went back for a second dinner after having such delicious food the first night. The bourbon-glazed salmon and the grilled grouper were cooked perfectly. Flaky and moist. The hush puppies they bring out first are the best I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and the food did not take long to come out. Happy hour prices are good for beer and wine. (That's what we had.) Both times we went close to 5 pm because it's not a big place, and sure enough, as 5:30 rolled around, it started getting very busy. The prices are way better than some of the other seafood restaurants in the same area (I vetted them all.) The two meals we had were excellent, and we will be coming back. I also enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and nautical decor.

I recently went to Russell's Seafood in Murrells Inlet, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely perfect, and it was like I was transported to another world. I went with the fresh catch, and it was cooked to perfection. The staff was incredible and really knew how to make me feel welcome. The atmosphere was perfect, not too fancy, but not too casual either. And the view was breathtaking! All though I am a tourist, this truly seemed like a local treasure. Overall, I highly recommend Russell's Seafood if you're looking for some amazing seafood. You won't regret it!

We stopped in here on a whim and boy what great food! I had blackened shrimp and hand cut fries. The fries might have been the best I’ve ever had. Very low key locals sort of place with excellent food! The asparagus was extremely good! Lauren was our waitress and she was awesome. We will be back for sure! Excellent and so laid back compared to many of the other go-go places nearby!

Really glad we came we got referred from the local Harrelson's fish market, very popular there was a pretty good weight at dinner but true to form anywhere you have to wait it's bound to be good. Get the she crab soup! Elegant and luxurious

She-crab soup was fabulous. I ordered the "crab-claw" appetizer... thinking it would be so much more than it was. My bad... but I've always had magnificent food here and my lunch mate said her's was fabulous as I expected.

Fantastic food & service. There are great mix & match seafood plates. The conch fritters and fried pickles were good appetizers. The inside is typical old beach knick knacks. There is no water view. The server was great-laughed at the corny jokes.

My girlfriend and I made a reservation on a Tuesday evening. We got calamari for an appetizer which wasn’t too bad and I loved that they gave us 3 sauces to go with it. My girlfriend got chicken which was extremely juicy and flavorful. She said it was the best chicken she’s ever had. I got the fried scallop basket with sweet potatoes and I was also very pleased. Everything was fresh and well seasoned, and the service couldn’t have been better! The atmosphere reminded me of an old fishing cabin. You can’t go wrong coming here.

I took my husband out for a date. We were pleasantly surprised not to encounter a wait despite the restaurant looking busy. The service was great. We sat outside and had a nice view of the inlet which was an added bonus. Now, the food was 🤌🏽 The she crab soup was so GOOD I took a quart home. We both got the special which was Grouper stuffed with Maryland crab cake and a creamy lobster sauce. It was all delicious and a good amount of food. Russell's is worth the money(which isn't bad at all!) and if you're like us, coming from Myrtle Beach, Conway or farther, it is worth the drive to Murrell's Inlet!!!
