This was a Southern Living favorite and we were not disappointed, it was fabulous! We went on a Thursday and didn’t have to wait for seating. Vicky, our server was efficient and very sweet. Our food was served quickly in perfect timing starting with she-crab soup and oyster stew, then grouper (catch of the day) and fried oysters, finishing up with homemade key lime pie. The food was all amazing, fresh and delicious, even the slaw and pimento cheese grits we had for sides. And although they were nowhere on the menu there were outstanding hushpuppies served with starters. Unlike most popular restaurants this place is everything it is hyped up to be!
**A Seafood Symphony That Hits the Right Notes**
Lee's Inlet Kitchen in Murrells Inlet, SC, left me singing the praises of their Early Menu Seafood Combination. I must commend the expertly crafted flavors that danced on my palate. The fresh seafood was a testament to their Southern Living Magazine's 2023 "Best Seafood Restaurant in South Carolina" title.
The atmosphere was inviting and laid-back. The coastal charm of Murrells Inlet enveloped the restaurant, creating a perfect setting for a seafood feast.
I appreciate the commitment to excellence that Lee's Inlet Kitchen displays. The friendly waitstaff, exemplified by Helen, who went above and beyond to rectify a small billing hiccup, made my experience memorable.
I'd recommend exploring other delights at Lee's Inlet Kitchen. From my culinary journey, I can confidently say this gem has more to offer beyond the Early Menu Seafood Combination.
One of the best in Murrell’s. Come for the hush puppies but stay for the great service and food.
It’s one of the must visits on our Myrtle Beach vacation, and we haven’t been disappointed yet. 15+ years of visiting.
Good portions for the price, and the food is always fresh and enjoyable. Best hush puppies in my opinion.
Reservations are available only for parties of >=15.
Absolutely delicious meal. Was recommended by the hostess and she was spot on with her recommendation to try the black and Bleu salmon. Best salmon I’ve had in a long time. Additionally, the service by Brian (our server) was top notch. Silverware and sauces arrived at the table before our meal (other places should take note!), drink glasses were never empty, and he ensured we were checked on regularly throughout our meal. When back in town I’ll be stopping in again. Thanks for a great experience
The service was great. Very friendly and attentive. It's nice that they support 1st responders and military work a discount. Food was good/ fresh. I didn't think the flounder had much flavor, but I would go back. Be prepared to wait for a table.
Excellent food well prepared and served at the right temperature. The server was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very nice inside, with a bar available as well.
This place was recommended by a local, and after visiting I understand why. It is huge! It doesn’t look as big on the outside but once inside it has a ton of seating. A small bar was where we sat to have some very tasty adult beverages. We got to our table about 10 minutes later, I don’t believe they take reservations so be prepared it gets busy. We weren’t sure what to try so we had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The hush puppies that came as well were delicious. We split the Fried Shore Dinner, it was more than enough for two people and we had leftovers to take home. Of course the homemade strawberry cake couldn’t be passed up and we had to give the coconut pie a try as well. Everything was wonderful. Our server was Leslie and she had the sweetest smile. All very friendly people.
Such a pleasant surprise! My husband came here with his mother and sisters in the late 60's...The food is DELICIOUS!!! So many choices!!! The service was friendly and fast and the restaurant was busy...but the staff was in a good mood!!! 👍
Definitely want to go back again!!!
Our waiter Zach was the best. We had a group of 10 and I was amazed at how friendly and efficient he was. Kept track of all our orders perfectly and just the right amount of interaction with the group. Really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The food was really good also. Best seafood we had while in Myrtle Beach area (and we tried a few)
Best bowl of She Crab soup I ever had. The small grilled seafood combo was average and the fantail shrimp were not very good. Expected more for the prices they charge and the portions were small. I would recommend you get a fried shore platter and split it. Service was good but took a long while to get our order taken, it improved as night went on. I think you could do better elsewhere for these prices unless you want the she crab soup.
