Bolder Food/drink

On the way to hiking, randomly stopped by after seeing an exit sign, really glad we did. Clean tasting fresh food. We had the avocado burger, coconut shrimp, fried green tomatoes crab cake, and fried zucchini. Wonderful food and pleasant atmosphere. Adult beverages were great too. Will return again. Highly recommended.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. It was recommended to us by some other patrons during a wine tasting at a nearby winery. Food was great & our waitress was nice. Love the avocado egg rolls! The start of the experience was less than pleasant. We were polite & told the hostess we were ok with waiting for a table since we didn’t have a reservation—-not a problem for us. However, the manager was a nasty, waxen woman. She told our waitress to make we were served & out within an hour as we were being seated. Really???!!!!!!! We took our time & made sure she saw us eating very slowly. She made sure we weren’t offered any dinner rolls as she stomped around the restaurant. The “apology” below from the manager is 100% false & so typical of people like her when they are called out for their ugly behavior … happy dining!

(3.5 stars) I’ll start with…we had a decent meal. With that said, it’s hard to figure out what this place strives to be. We’ve been to prior incarnations of this restaurant (same owners?) and it’s always been like this. Nachos, French onion soup, mussels, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, and $25-$35 entrees. Somewhere between a sports bar and a bistro. While our server was fine, it appears they are suffering from inexperienced staff. A sign of the times in early 2022. We weren’t two sips into a pre-dinner cocktails before our soup and salads showed up (she called them appetizers). We were only half way through soup and salad when our meals showed up. Lots of timing issues. The main dining room is crammed full of tables, it would be more comfortable if one or two four-tops were removed. The quality is good, not great.

My first time at Bolder and the food was amazing. Service was excellent and so were the drinks. The only downside I would say is the Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee didn't have any actual Vanilla Bean. It was still a great dessert. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lay back place but a meal that taste like its fine dining with out breaking the bank.
