Snappy Lunch

Had to stop here for nostalgia! Ordered the world famous pork chop sandwich - all the way, double cheese burger, boiled ham sandwich. Prices CANNOT be beat anywhere! That’s a step back in time to begin with! Pics of menu included. Service was VERY friendly! They even moved us in faster to keep us from standing in the rain. Drinks came out quick, but food took almost an hour. Pork chop sandwich has gotten mixed reviews online and I’d say it falls right in the middle. Not great, not bad, just average. Couldn’t really taste the chili at all. Wasn’t disappointed by it, but don’t go in expecting to be blown away by the food. Double cheese burger was better than McDs fast food, again I’d say average, but good. Boiled ham sandwich was a slice of ham on a bun. It is what it is 😂 If you’re going to visit this town, you have to eat here and I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating here. Nostalgia, friendly staff. This brought back some childhood memories going to town and eating lunch with grandpa. I had an old fashion dbl cheeseburger with slaw and chilli. It may not be for everyone, it's a southern thing. A very busy place, food was good, service was fast price was very reasonable. I would eat here again

Wife and I stopped here for breakfast and some sight seeing. We really enjoyed the food. The service was very good. Very polite. Not expensive at all. Worth the money. Our food took no time and was hot. A lot of pictures from Andy Griffith show and more of Andy and celebs. I would totally recommend coming here.
