Good local restaurant for breakfast and lunch. We have been here a few times and they are friendly and quick service. Pricing and portions are competitive for the area. They home of the “Barney Burger”. There are lots of options on the menu. Stop in and visit when you are in town.

I went in to get some tea to take with me, and ended up staying and having a piece of that amazing chocolate cake. It was awesome. There were only a few of us there when I arrived, by the time I left the place was packed full. Really good place to stop for some lunch, or breakfast, or just a snack. LOL

A+ they checked the buns for dairy for my wife and son who both have a dairy allergy. The waitress was very kind and helpful. The Food was very good and the prices were not bad at all. Loved the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy over texas toast. Will definitely eat here again. Thanks we really appreciated the kind service and great food.

We had breakfast and lunch here today. Food was excellent and Kelly was our server for both meals. If you come to Mayberry, or Mt. Airy, eat at Barney’s Cafe. The Barney Burger was great! Kelly was awesome and very friendly!!

The service was great. The food.... mediocre. Not bad, but nothing to write home about, and came out at room temp. We asked for real butter, and they don't use real butter at all in the restaurant. Really? A southern restaurant that doesn't slather everything in butter? Lot's of pictures of Barney and the rest of the Andy Griffith cast... so there's that.

My wife and I are there Saturday while on a weekend getaway. It was delicious. I had a chance to meet the owner and found that he is going through the same struggles as the rest of us restaurant owners. Food was good, owner is a nice guy. Y'all stop on in and see him, tell him Jesse James sent you. 😁

Had lunch here - it was packed. This restaurant has a neat inside and a nice size menu. I had the Mayberry BLT - petty standard BLT, just less bacon; it came with chips and a pickle. My husband has the hamburger steak (burger with no bun) special with coleslaw and potato salad; he said the burger was dry and definitely needed something more. Prices were definitely right though.

Great little place with an awesome atmosphere. Service was very friendly. Food was good and fast. Prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come back when ever I am in the area.
