The Best Pastry shop in Monterey!!! The display cases are full of delicious goodies!!! Specialty cakes, cookies, croissants, single serving cake slices, pastries, fresh breads! They also serve sandwiches, soups including clam chowder, deli sides, salads, cafe drinks, etc. My favorites are raspberry croissant and Eiffel Tower cookies!!! One of my must-have stops when I'm in Monterey!!!

If you are looking for a place with bread , croissants that taste as it does in France than this is the place to be. They leave out the sugar that others put in and have nice banquette and Parisiens with a real crust. And then they have so many other great bakes on sale. Not sure what they use for coffee beans yet the cappuccino tasted nice smooth and had a thick foam layer. Truly enjoyed this and would return when in the neighborhood.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would!! I came in with my daughter before we walked down to the waterfront. She loves all French food and was so excited to see all the options they had. Their staff were busy but one of them, Drew, helped my daughter pick out a dozen cookies and talked with her the entire time while we waited to check out and pay. He was so welcoming and kind and helped us with the whole process like an expert. The food was delicious and they had great coffee and great service! Wonderful place overall!
