This is one of the best Chinese restaurants around! The service is quick and awesome, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great with beautiful views. The noodles are the best texture and thickness and every meat is cooked to perfection. This is my new go to restaurant and a great place to take the family. Highly recommended!

Best traditional Chinese food I've had in a long time! MUST have food items: Salt & Pepper Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and BBQ Shrimp Fried Rice. For parties of 2 or more, I recommend ordering the family options. It comes with your choice of soup+ egg rolls and fried prawns+ and each peron chooses a main dish. Service? Quick, food is served nice and HOT and wait times under 10 minutes. James (nanager) is very friendly, taking time to visit with each table, suggesting great menu choices, as well as providing recommendations for local events and attractions. Atmosphere: very traditional Chinese style decorations and interior mood. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Monterey looking for GREAT CHINESE CUISINE.

I recently had a takeout experience at Great Wall Szechuan and Mandarin Cuisine, and I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. Even though this isn't a vegan restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer vegan options. The wife of the business helped us with our order, and she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan menu - she even treated us like family! When I went to pick up the food, I had the pleasure of meeting the husband, who was equally kind and courteous. As a family-owned business, it was clear that they take pride in their restaurant and their customers. The husband even helped me bring the food to my car, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Great Wall Szechuan and Mandarin Cuisine - they offer delicious food and exceptional service, and the fact that they have vegan options is a huge bonus. It's clear that this is a restaurant that truly cares about its customers.

Amazing Chinese restaurant. Great service, fast, clean place, delicious food. Server was attentive and super kind, gave candy to my little daughter, she loved the attention! Place was full for a Monday night but we were seated quickly after a table left. Place had good atmosphere and food tasted fresh. Reasonable prices and wine prices superb. Will definitely go back and will recommend. The attention of the waiter and the great food made our weekend extra special.
