Papa Johns Pizza

This nasty lady yelled at me when I called to complain that my pizza was not what I ordered and that it was disgusting. INEDIBLE FOOD. Both the pizza and cheesy bread were dried out, tough and with barely any sauce/cheese. Toppings were wrong (spinach?!) but after working a 14 hr day I was starving and desperate so I tried to eat a piece. Couldn’t do it! Trash. And then I call and get YELLED AT and HUNG UP ON?! I’m all for raising the minimum wage, but this lady is overpaid 100%. I’m hungry, disappointed and disgusted.

This was a while ago, but it had been brought up yet again. In middle school I ordered pizza from here and the delivery driver arrived. I answered the door and my dad came up behind me. The delivery driver goes, "So how long have you been married?" I'm in middle school and my dad is in his 60's and I never ordered pizza from here again. It's funny when I look back on it (in college now), but never again.

I’m sitting here and waiting, again, for them to deliver our pizzas on time. This summer they delivered to the wrong house and the person at the store asked me to walk around my neighborhood and look. (Which I did and found them on our neighbors bench outside) the Saturday before Halloween they were 35 min late and now my estimated delivery time is in 16 min. (Requested delivery time was 5 pm, it’s 5:28 pm now) After this, I won’t be ordering from them again. It’s so disappointing and I know COVID has had a lot to do with this I’m sure, but if they don’t figure things out, more and more people will start going other places. UPDATE: my neighbor just brought over our cold pizzas. They delivered them to them to the wrong house AGAIN!!

This store is really bad lately, I love Papa John's pizza, but the cooking of the pizzas lately has been horrible. Last week I ordered 2 pizzas, both undercooked to the point of wet dough in parts of the pizzas. Today I ordered one of the Shaqaroni well done and it was black on the edges. No cheese could be detected on about 80 percent of pizza as it had all cooked off. Threw it away and deleted my email phone number and their app. I will try again when I next move, but done with Minnetonka store.

Not as good as I expected from the hiked up price. Not a fan of their red sauce either on the pizza or the dipping sauce with the cheese sticks. They forgot the buffalo sauce on my wings. The tracking page didn't update for about 40 minutes until it was actually on the road and it was a few minutes late. I just expected better for the cost compared to Pizza Hut or Domino's.

If I could post a review with 0 stars, that would be more reflective of the experience we had tonight with this Papa John's location. We typically order Dominos, but decided to order Papa John's tonight. I placed my order at 5:35 pm with a projected delivery time of 69-73 minutes from the time I placed the order. The order didn't arrive until 7:30 pm. The pizza was COLD. Not lukewarm as if it had just been made and was in the warming bag for too long. COLD. Half of our order was missing, as we also placed an order of cinnamon pull aparts. There was no garlic dipping sauce with the pizza (which I remember being part of Papa John's signature), and when we called to let them know about our experience, the employee on the phone said ,"I only have one driver tonight." Not my problem, friend. Disappointing for sure. They did give us a refund (as they absolutely should in a situation like this), but I don't think we'll be ordering from this location again. What a bummer, because the pizza is typically really delicious. But they're expensive and the experience was awful. I may as well have driven to the store and grabbed a frozen pizza instead.
