Panera Bread

Purchased this Whole Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT sandwich from Panera. Although the sandwich was well made, the turkey seemed questionable, it had a very strong odor and odd taste. I am not sure if that’s what the turkey should smell like but I just couldn’t stand it. I took out the turkey and was able to enjoy the sandwich. Fair experience overall.

This is definitely one of the better Paneras I have been to! The staff are nice and friendly. The food is standard Panera fare. The layout is just a bit weird (the entrances are kind of on either end. So if you come in one side you have to walk through like a galley area to get to the counter. A bit confusing the first time) Seating is plentiful and they even have nice outdoor seating! Even when it was pretty packed this morning with the lunch rush, the ordering queue was moving quickly and there were still enough tables to sit at. The only con is that the air conditioning was way too cold the first time I was there. But not too bad! They also seem to be well stocked and not dirty unlike other Paneras I’ve seen. One of their workers was kind of wiping down tables and the drinks counter between customers. Really impressed!

I have a couple of complaints about this Panera location. I want to start by saying that my boyfriend and I have never ordered from this Panera before today. First, the website is not user friendly on a Mac. We were able to see almost none of the screen and were asked many questions before we could even check out (want to add a smoothie? Want to add a cookie or muffin? Want to donate money?). Second, our order was set for 6:30pm. Fast forward to 6:50pm and he finally got the order. He asked a worker what happened to our order and she stated only that she would grab her manager. They did not keep my boyfriend updated with what was going on at all. He was standing there waiting for 20 minutes while they searched for the order! Finally, they came out with our order and the manager smiled, but truthfully that doesn’t make things right in our eyes. We will not be ordering from this location again, which disappoints me because we live no more than a mile away. I want to also add that I understand many restaurants are short staffed; however, we ordered two bowls of soup and one baguette 45 minutes in advance. Where could this order possibly have gone?

Use to love their breakfast sandwiches,till one day I bit in to it and got runny egg all over me. They now only sell easy over egg in them. Gross I don't like runny eggs and not on a sandwich that I'm eating on the go. I asked for it to be cooked hard and was told no they won't do that. Well then they lost my business. Since when can you get an egg they way you like it.

Have gone twice in a three month period and have not received my order. Today I ordered at 12:20 and the email said it would be ready at 12:45. Went to the restaurant at 12:45, and about 3 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready, I got a text saying it was running behind, but no other info. My name was 5th on the board near the pick up area. It stayed 5th on the list as names above and below me disappeared. Finally I just had to cancel my order because they couldn't tell me when it would be ready.I ordered 1 sandwich. Disappointing, and there are too many good lunch options in the area to risk going here again.

The food itself was ok but a little too expensive for what it was. We had the pick two. I had the new chicken sandwich and a Ceasars salad and my friend had a turkey bacon sandwich and the Wild rice soup. That cosr us $30. The chicken sandwich was a little dry and when I asked for more of the dressing I think they gave me mayo. My friends soup was good but the bacon was a little limp. The place was also not very clean and it wasn't very busy, 2 o'clock on a Saturday. I also noticed that when I went to ask for the dressing there was a pile of sliced cheese on an assembly counter. It just screamed unsanitary. I probably will not be back for a bit, especially not to this one.

Picked up a few loaves of French baguettes and bread bowls. They were all hard and over baked. Drove all the way back the next day & manager agreed, but said there was nothing she could do because she said bakers come and make them at night. 2nd trip: bread still over baked (see 2nd and 3rd photos)...
