China Express Inn

We've been doing delivery from New China Express for years now, it's so convenient with their online order and you don't have to pay for 3rd party fees. The food is mostly what you'd expect with some dishes better than others, but what's surprised me most is how great their sushi is as it is a recent menu addition. It really might be my favorite sushi in the NE Minneapolis area. Really generous filings, good quality, perfectly made. And delivery alongside Chinese food -- so never have to choose between having sushi and having leftovers again :) Really nice people too.

Fast delivery and food was surprisingly tasty!! Prices are also very cheap. We got the beef w/ garlic, teriyaki steak and general tso chicken. We LOVED it!! DON’T listen to any of the 1 or 2 star reviews. This place is a classic Chinese restaurant and we’ll definitely order from them again in the future.

Ordered it for the 1st time from work. Had such a great experience. The food was very hot & Delivery was fast. The fried rice was so good & the egg rolls are the best I’ve had in awhile. I got the general Tso’s chicken. I could tell it was made fresh, it was hot & crispy nice tender chicken on the inside. Perfect portions for the price.

I have to share how much I love this place. Simple Chinese? Yes. However, I will go out of my way to come to this place for several reasons. First, the workers are always very kind and friendly. Secondly, the fried rice is super tasty, and they'll cook to order! (For example, I like extra onion in mine, and boy, do they deliver). Third, the prices are unbeatable. I have no problem driving a half hour to pick up $10 worth of food. And lastly, they give you a sweet hot sauce with every order that I can eat plain... I love this place!

I drive a truck so I’m never really in the area where I can visit them. They deliver that’s great . I’ve never had a problem with an order from them and is far as I know they are really nice . When you call him or you would’ve two ladies I think I usually get the younger lady , she knows her stuff and she is very nice yes older lady she knows her stuff she can be a little bit more order out because she is busy . Who my kidding this is a crazy place it doesn’t very brisk business in good Chinese food. It’s not expensive it’s great price for them. In fact it beats the local stuff from my hometown . All I can say is go over your order when they repeated back to you to make sure it’s what you want . I just wish I had more time to visit a few of these places .

Perfect place to get delicious takeout. I like frequenting local small businesses like this when craving Panda Express type Chinese American food. They have a really cheap lunch special and pack the containers with so much food. There is never a long wait and the staff is always super nice. Overall, a great place for inexpensive, delicious food.

If you've ever tried Panda Express in Coffman you will know it's hectic during lunchtime and not much food for the money. It's quite the opposite here, generally go here for their lunch express, usually is 7$ for what would be a dinner plate at Panda Express, I enjoy the food and never thought it as gross. Usually always a place to sit as many people come there for take out instead of eat in, the lady that is always up front is always nice. Can not comment on delivery as I've always picked food up if I ever order. Nice cheap place to eat in Dinkytown if you crave cheap Chinese food.
