Titi (my waiter) was amazing and super patient. The ambience felt so homely. For the food, I had an explosion of robust flavors just at first bite which shows how much love was went into preparing it. I will recommend this place over and over again.

I'm not Ethiopian, but Ethiopian cuisine is my top one cuisine, unchangeable. So I was in heaven when I found this place in Minnesota. They have dulet! My other favorite is kitfo. It's as good as any top notch Ethiopian restaurant that I've ever been in. The service is a bit slow though. But it might have been due to the day that I got in. Still, they were hospitable. Love it!

Wonderful food that's full of flavor. It's not the fanciest establishment, but it feels honest and focused on what's most important: the food. The service was flexible and accommodated a party of 5 that showed up more than hour early.

Listennnnn the treatment I received here is A++ ! From the people, the food, the music. Legit everything. I freaking cried because in Boston I don't get treated like I did here. Everyone here from employees to regulars were so nice and welcoming. The food was so good. The restaurant is essentially split in 2. One side the restaurant the other side bar/club. They invited me to watch them play an Italian game I've never even heard of. Showed me how to play and made sure I was good while there. Went from relaxing vibes to club night within a couple hours and I was all for it after a few drinks. If you want to relax, eat and have a couple drinks peacefully highly recommend going before 10. If you want to party come after 10! Either way you're getting your money worth.

Came here to see DJ Hotwax. We had no trouble getting in and the vibe was amazing and positive. Crowd was quite diverse and we all had a good, safe time until 2am. Lights and sound system were spectacular for this act. Worked up enough of a sweat to be able to walk back to our car without a coat on a chilly night. The area seemed safe due to the venue being located in a well-lit part of town. Highly recommended and would return again!

If you found that your favorite band is coming to town to place at a restaurant lol then you might also be scratching your head. Trust me tho, this place is a good time. It's a unique venue to be sure. It's definitely on the small side but frankly, I think that makes for a good concert Nice vibes too

Super Veggie Combo plate was great for two people to share. Food was great. Service is always excellent. Restaurant is plain, nothing fancy, but it works. Excellent vegetarian options with the veggie plates. Sometimes the food is better seasoned, but always good. Best Ethiopian place in the Twin Cities. Highly recommend.

Small restaurant that does it right. Food and service are top notch. Ambience is friendly and welcoming. For food, I highly recommend the Half-and-Half which includes both ground and steak beef. Wonderfully spiced. Prices are very reasonable. I hope to be back to try more of the menu soon.

Was pleasantly surprised by the red sea. The food was unlike anything I've had in the twin cities. We ordered a combo platter with beef and lamb and 4 vegetable sides. Not knowing anything about the food we asked our server to suggest the vegetables - she smiled and pointed out 4 suggestions which we agreed to. The food arrived quickly and it was great. We were surprised that there was no silverware provided but quickly figured out how to use the bread to eat it. The beef and lentils were out favorites and the combo was perfect size for my wife and I. No big wine list but the pinot grigio we ordered went well with the spice - a beer would have been a good pairing to.
