I really liked the puppy dog tail! The coffee is hot, but tastes slightly burnt. The cookie is huge, and is nice to share with someone. I will definitely come back for the baked goods, because their cinnamon rolls are HUGE!
It's very loud in here, and very full. Despite this, it didn't feel overly overcrowded. I see a variety of family, friends, and individuals around here. It definitely attracts a trendy crowd. I can officially say that I have tried it. It is very clean as well.
The quiche was sold out for the next hour, and pizza is only served M-F. There is a large variety of baked goods to choose from. There are also enough hot and cold drinks available for those even with the most discerning tastes.
The service was fine. I found that the workers were average but also moved things along quickly. I asked a couple of times to make sure that I did get the 20oz White Mocha, and the service worker either couldn't hear me, or understand my question.
Honestly, I wouldn't describe it as a must-see destination. It's fine. The coffee could be better, although take that with a grain of salt; I also used to live in Washington state. Would I come back, yes but it's not my first choice.

This is a great little corner bakery/coffee shop. We got puppy tails that were great. The cream cheese frosting was warm and gooey without being too sugary. This place also makes the best cinnamon rolls. We also got lattes that were good.
The staff were very nice and despite being busy, had our food and drinks to us really quickly.

The baked goodies are as good as they look. The puppy tails are soft and the coffee cake is moist and cinnamon packed. Staff is friendly. A perfect place for a rainy day and sugar rush.

Isle Bun is one of my go-to weekend treats.
There’s usually a line on the weekends but it moves fast and is well worth the wait!
Order the puppy dog tails and ALWAYS ask for extra frosting! You won’t regret it. 🤤

Potentially the best cinnamon roll ever. Pretty sweet and the texture of the bread is incredible.
We didn’t love the carrot cake — more nuts and raisins than carrot and still pretty sweet.
There is usually a line Sunday mornings, but worth the wait!

This is a quintessential Minneapolis stop for coffee, scones, baked oatmeal (just try it!), puppy dog tails, cinnamon buns and all sorts of other goodies plus delicious coffee and cold press. You can’t help but feel comfy and welcome in this space ❤️

Simply put, this place knows how to do a good cinnamon bun!! I’m not a huge fan of commercial cinnamon buns due to the doughy texture. However, Isle of Bun baked their bun’s to perfection.
Highly recommend the extra frosting on top!

This friendly bistro makes fantastic coffees and fabulous variations on the sweet roll 💕. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. This is a wonderful place and smells like cinnamon 🙃.

I give 4 stars because the caramel rolls should also have the option of having extra glaze just like the cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon rolls and puppy dog tails were perfect!
I did also get a vanilla latte and it was okay… I could barely taste the vanilla and its supposed to be homemade. Overall, it was pretty good!

I had no idea it would be so busy on a Saturday morning! It’s a very popular bakery right off of Hennepin Ave with a long line out the door at around 10:30am. It was maybe a 20 minute wait. I tried the small cinnamon roll and it was definitely worth the wait for only $2.
There isn’t a huge selection of pastries but it looked like they keep refilling them throughout the morning and you can see them baking in the back. The vanilla latte was also good! The inside had a lot of tables with quite a few open spots. There were also a few tables on the sidewalk with umbrellas that would be perfect to eat at. Staff was really nice. There were open metered parking spots outside.
