My husband and I have been going to Sarah Jane's Bakery for years and we are absolutely obsessed with their donuts. When we got married in May, we had Sarah Jane's Minnesota donuts for our dessert and they were a hit! The staff was very accommodating to our flavor requests & they were able to make special treats for gluten free & dairy free guests. The only thing I would have changed is we should have bought more :P

Called looking for lemon bars and they had some! when I walked in it gave me an old town bakery vibes 🥰 not the best lighting no decorations, simple to the point. They sell donuts 🍩 cookies and bars. I originally came for lemon bars I wanted to get one of 🤤 everything after looking lol they have 7 different bars. The bars are small and I feel they could lower the price to a dollar per square they also have small Cookies that are .75 a piece 😩 but I got 6 even tho they are small and .75 a piece they are one of the best cookies around you can taste the love and Butter I got one pecan toffee crunch, one chocolate chip, two oatmeal raisins and two peanut butter. They were delicious my favorite was the almond toffee. @crumble cookie is trash compared to them. The lemon bars are sweet and tart but so tiny I wish both cookies and bars were bigger for the price. I wanted to try a donut but they were $3 over all great experience it’s a special treat thing so if you’re not worried about price and have a sweet tooth like me go check them out. I will be back to Check out the day olds 🤗
The cookies were good, with a nice soft texture and good flavor. The sourdough was good as well. However, the main reason I went was for a snoopy bar, since I grew up eating them, and I'm sad to report that they've changed 😔 I can't pinpoint what is different, maybe less of a PB flavor or maybe the chocolate is too rich compared to what it used to be.. I dunno, but now there's no reason to make a special trip.
We are so thankful this establishment made it through the pandemic. Sarah Jane’s bakery provides excellent service and creative talent that can’t be beat. One year, we had a ninja birthday party, the next a dragon party and this year, a Kirby party. The cookies were obviously delicious but just so well done! Bravo!!
Review is only based on the pies I have not had any of their other products. Amazing pies and lots of variety. Had the Michigan Sour Cherry pie and it was delicious. Friendly service and affordable prices on the pies compared to most. Pies are almost all in the $15-$20 range which is very affordable. Soft and crunchy crust with good flavor. Try them out you won’t regret it!! I can’t wait to come back only wish I lived closer!!!
I just stopped by here for the first time today and picked up their chocolate frosted cake donuts. Hannah at the register was very helpful and helped explain some of the history of the place to me. Apparently they’ve been around for 100 years and they got a new owner five years ago but the recipes haven’t changed very much since it was founded 100 years ago. The owner was also working today and was helping out at a register next to the one I was at. She was very efficient at getting people in and out of the place. I’m very satisfied with how the cake donut tasted and the friendly customer service that I received.
Love this bakery! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Clean place. If you visit soon before closing time, they might have limited stock on many items. Overall, very nice.
Best donuts, always. Some seasonal ones. Great cookies, bars, and pies too. Also, friendly staff. All wins, grat place.
Amazing baked goods! The crunchy donut holes and the chocolate dream are definitely the "stars of the show" at Sarah Jane's. Sometimes the crunchy donut holes sell out, so definitely get there early if you want to try them!
Some of my favorite donuts in the city! They always have a mix of classic and fun flavors. Also the staff is always friendly and helpful when I pick up a big order for my real estate shop.
