Overall Colita was an amazing experience. The food was divine and the service was top notch. Upon entry there was a line and this was when they first opened for the evening. We were greeted and seated within minutes. Our waiter was super friendly and made our dinner fun. He recommended dishes and ensured that the plates were staggered so as to give us a tasting menu experience. All the plates were outstanding!
Our experience was outstanding and we will be coming back. One star off for atmosphere for two reasons, 1) parking lot is very small in this very busy neighborhood and 2) it gets quite busy and loud aso conversations can be difficult. These don't stop me from recommending Colita!

So pleasantly surprised by the cocktails, bar and atmosphere. Beef tartar and shrimp tacos are a must try. Great place for a nice evening with friends.

Went on a weekday and was able to sit inside. The menu unique in that the plates have multiple servings. We ordered the corn elote, chicken tingas tostada, and the pulled pork tacos. The chicken tinga was my favorite and we ordered an extra plate of those. -1 for atmosphere, because of the noise level inside. It was difficult to understand the waiter and communicate.

This place is AH-MAZING!! You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu... from cocktails to entrees to dessert. Highly recommend. It's usually busy so definitely suggest making reservations in advance.

Great restaurant in the SW Minneapolis neighborhood! Everything I tried was delicious and the service was top notch. Loved the atmosphere, they had their glass garage door opened to let the fresh air inside. I love the indoor/outdoor open concept which makes the restaurant feel larger than it actually is. I highly recommend checking this place out, it's one of my new faves for sure.

Such a fun experience! Went with a friend and we were recommended to order five plates, which was an appropriate amount for a meal. Good service, fun balcony, great food!

Love this place! We sat out on the patio and the atmosphere was super cute. Our server was always on top of it and suggested some great drinks. I decided on the Paloma and it was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had! My friend and I shared several plates and they were all fabulous! The churros for a dessert are a MUST!! Already looking forward to going back to try more!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We walked in to the host stand and were greeted immediately by a friendly human. They went to go make sure there was a table available. In the two minutes we waited two other friendly humans came to check on us and ensure we were being helped. The table was perfectly small and cute with a candle and plant. The whole kitchen is gluten free which made my life so much easier. I always feel like a burden telling staff that I'm vegan but out sever knew the menu inside and out and made me feel welcome and ordering easy. We had a different server bring out our meal and they were so friendly and also knew everything about the food. The food was perfect the people were friendly, fun, inviting and knowledgeable! The food was delicious and beautiful. The drinks were unmatched and fun. I don't have a negative thought. 10/5 stars

Incredible. Atmosphere has such great vibes. Can dress up or be more causal. Most people were a bit nicer dressed but my husband and I had jeans and tennis shoes and didn’t feel out of place.
Service was amazing. Everyone so friendly and we showed up as a walk-in on a busy night but still got a table in 10-15 mins.
Food is out of this world. I would eat anything on that menu. Favorite was churros. It’s hard to even explain how good those were.
Also had Corn elote, Watermelon cucumber salad, Masa and Guac, Green chili pork tacos.
The pork tacos and watermelon cucumber salad were my favorite besides the churros. But I would recommend ANY of it. I think they could cook rubber and it would taste good.
Drinks were also all home-runs.
