Have been here thrice. The sweet plantains were decent. The steak for the entree(churrasco steak frites) was well done & I had requested medium rare. The guy immediately refunded me for the entree & brought another batch of steak which was medium rare & this was on the house. Amazing customer service!. 2nd visit got the ropa vieja bowl which was pretty good. The papa rellena was good however $8 was definitely not justified for the portion. 3rd visit got the vaca frita which I did not enjoy. All desserts(Guava cheesecake, coconut flan, tres leches) I have tried were phenomenal. Will definitely be back.
Excellent food, fun vibe, fast service and reasonable prices. Staff was courteous and explained all the dishes. Maduros were perfectly done, ropa veija was tender and juicy, masitas, croquettas and papa rellena were delicious. Salsas felt Americanized, but not in a bad way. Coconut flan was top notch.
I liked the attention to detail - in the food, decor and stuff like water. Once sip and you can tell its purified with reverse osmosis.
Will be coming back again!
Had a vacation day and decided to finally check this place out. Food was super tasty. I had the breakfast sanguish with bacon side of guacamole and potatoes. Really good, egg was just slightly soft which was perfect for me. I do think it would be better in the Cuban bread than the croissant. My husband had the havanna plate and really enjoyed it also. Highly recommend, we’re going to come back and try dinner.
If nothing else, come for the breakfast potatoes! Eggs were cooked perfectly. Steak was a little under but still tasted delicious. Coffee is very strong in a good way. Wish I'd found this place sooner.
I tried their LECHON ASADO (braised pork in a bowl) which was so tasty. They give you so much meat that I couldn’t finish! Not knowing much about Cuban food, the lady at the counter willingly helped me pick what I should try. Despite being relatively small, the restaurant has many seating options so whether you are dining alone or with your family, you will be well accommodated.

Cute little cafe with friendly staff. The Cuban food was delicious. One in our group just had 2 eggs and 2 sausage parties, and the pairs were very thin and over cooked. Both the veggie and the braised beef hash were delicious! The monitor and the mimosas were delicious and refreshing.
I had an amazing experience at the Cuban restaurant in Twins Cities. The food looked great, and I tried Maduros and Churrasco Steak Frites. The steak was perfectly cooked, and I loved the crunchy texture of the fried potatoes. The salad was refreshing, though a tad tangy for my liking. Sadly, one of the Maduros got burned, but the rest were delicious as my friend recommended. The space was cute with vibrant colors, giving it a modern yet adorable feel, which I really liked. Next time, I can't wait to try their coffee during brunch.
I’m giving this restaurant a year… and I better see it booming to the point reservations or a waiting list is started. I tried on a Sunday, came back on that following Monday. That should tell you how much I loved it! Unexpectedly I didn’t think the food would be that good, savory and fresh!!!!! Only thing I wished there were charging circuits near the booth seating area. But that’s a preference of mine. May not be for other customers/guests.
All I can say is nummmmmm. My tres leches coffee was delicious, and the vaca frita hash was incredibly flavorful. Appreciated the ability to customize how I wanted my eggs cooked in the hash. Food came out within 10 minutes, and we enjoyed the outdoor seating.
I've dined here many times for brunch and dinner and have always thoroughly enjoyed my experience and the food. Occasionally the line to place your order can be long and take awhile, but that won't deter me from going back. The yuca fritas are fantastic!
