At long last, after a trying first couple years of a pandemic, we were finally invited by the host, to engage in a calm and serene atmosphere, surrounded by koi and architectural design fitting to modernity and simplicity, elegant style and beauty.
The beef chow fun is silky, savory, a mouthfeel of scallions, ginger, and garlic, enough to languish in its feast and then land in abundant flavor.
The curry, also a mouthful of savory delight, and voted, in our opinion, number one in Minneapolis-St Paul.
Not all chocolate wontons are equal. This one is a delicate malty cocoa and good to the last savory moment on your tongue.
Lastly, the host treated us to the house papaya, fresh lobes bathing in its aromatic juices.
My son and I decided to get a pickup order from Rainbow Chinese for lunch earlier. They got the order perfect and man, it's so delicious! This place is such a gem. I highly recommend it!

I had such a lovely evening at Rainbow! The food was so good that I packed things up so that I would have room for dessert. Tammy is an incredible hostess and has created a beautiful restaurant and delicious menu. I look forward to the next time I'm in Minneapolis, so that I can eat here again!
The beef chow fun was a standout, and the dessert wontons were PERFECT. You could definitely have a filling meal for 20-30 dollars, but it's worth it to spend a little more and get a couple dishes.

Everything I’ve had from Rainbow is perfect 10/10 no notes. Slight issue with an order due to new system and Chef Tammy personally delivered a fresh batch to my door within 20 minutes. Consistently delicious and great service.
Hands down some of the best food in this city. The people at Rainbow, from the owner on down, are some of the kindest, best people you'll meet. Do not pass this restaurant up!
