I've just moved back to Mnpls and am overjoyed that Jasmine Deli is still here. This is my favorite eat spot in the city -- hands down they have the best spring rolls, banh mi sandwiches, and pho. Plus the prices are more than reasonable, and the family that owns and operates this business are genuinely good, caring people.

My favorite place in MPLS! This is where I come for my Vietnamese noodle salad fix (that'll need to happen once a week, at least). Great place for vegans. The fresh mock duck noodle salad is SO good and comes with a vinaigrette that is so delicious that I seriously could drink it, as are the always crispy-on-the-outside - warm-and-fluffy on the inside Banh Mi that has a bit of a kick to it. The delicious food aside, the main thing that keeps me and my husband coming back, week after week, is the friendly staff who always treat us like family.

Stopped here after a visit to the MIA and ordered the tofu noodle salad....so good! Ended up going back in for a bubble tea. This has been my favorite meal so far while visiting Minneapolis!

BEWARE: The website on this google listing is FRAUDULENT! I ordered food through it and never got a confirmation email. I called the restaurant and they informed me this site is a phishing site, there to steal your credit card info. Only order by phone or through one of the delivery sites like grubhub. The real restaurant is great. Small space but food + boba is good and staff are great.

Can’t say enough good things about Jasmine Deli. It has been my favorite restaurant for the better part of 2 decades. The family that owns and operates the restaurant are some of the nicest, most welcoming people you will ever meet. I’d list my favorite dishes, but I’d end up just posting the entire menu, because you can’t go wrong here! Amazing options for vegetarians and vegans, including a special vegan “fish sauce” alternative that turns their eggrolls into probably the single most delicious food on the planet. Wish I could rate this place twice because they deserve 10 stars!

I heard about Jasmine deli on my search for banh mi restaurants. I tried to come here over the pandemic but it was closed. Then, my roommate told me it was open again! My partner and I are banh mi fanatics. He has never been here before, so I took him here on a surprise date. The restaurant is on eat street and is attached to Icehouse. It’s small and humble inside and shared its location with kung fu tea. There was a friendly environment in the restaurant and many young people socializing and drinking boba tea. The employees were very friendly and asked us if we were there for food (vs boba, which it seems like a lot of people were there for). We said yes, he gave us a menu, and then told us that they were out of banh mi! We were thinking of going elsewhere, but decided to give it a try anyways, and we were not disappointed! We ordered the vegan noodle soup, the tofu vermicelli salad, and tamarind tofu as a starter. The vegan noodle soup was excellent. The broth was well balanced, the veggies were fresh, and the tofu was crispy and flavorful. I did wish they had had the hand pulled noodles that were listed on the menu, but the rice noodles were good too. The salad was delicious, especially the vinaigrette. The tofu was well seasoned and fried. The flavors were just right! Finally, the tamarind tofu. This came out last, but this was fine with us because it was freshly fried. The sauce was sharp and tangy. Would recommend, but the portion is a little small. The restaurant is very affordable, and the ambiance outside is great as well. Definitely come here! Also, I found my doppelgänger here. Added bonus!

I ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls and shrimp noodle soup. Both were delicious and really fresh tasting. The broth was very clear but flavorful. I added a little Sriracha to the soup and it was perfect. It's available with egg noodles which is nice since I prefer them to rice noodles most of the time. Prices were decent and the portions were large. Thanks for the great food! 😁

Very friendly service always. The vegetarian eggroll noodle bowl (especially the vegetarian "fish" sauce that goes with it) and tofu banh mi are the bomb. I wish they were open as much as the boba side, but I understand pandemic issues probably impact how they manage staffing for restaurant side.

The spring rolls were once touted as the best in the city and they are still great even if they face tougher competition around town. They don't have a fancy dining room or the greatest aesthetic, but it is a great option if you are looking for takeout or a place to cram some quick calories while you are in the neighborhood. The Ban Mi sandwiches are a GREAT value at 4 or 5 dollars even if they are 70% bread.
