While not inexpensive the daily buffet is worth the price. Every dish is tasty and fresh. Probably the best Indian food I have ever had. Every dish is consistently outstanding!
We ordered through Amazon Delivers. The delivery was fast & the driver was kind . The food was AH-Mazing ! We ordered the Tandoori dinner for two . The portions were great and the flavor was out of this world ! It was our first time ordering from but definitely not the last time !
Went here on a whim, and it did not disappoint! Everything tasted amazing. All the food had such great flavor, and it was filling as well.

India Palace Uptown truly exceeded our expectations on our recent dinner visit. The spacious seating arrangement and the convenience of a private parking lot already set the tone for a great experience. The service was swift and attentive, ensuring we were well-taken care of throughout our meal. My wife and I shared the butter chicken, samosas, and a delightfully creamy mango lassi — each dish was rich in flavor and generously portioned. The atmosphere lends itself perfectly to family-style dining and sharing. Given the quality, the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend India Palace Uptown for anyone seeking a warm, flavorful, and hearty meal, especially on a chilly day. We'll definitely be returning!
Ordered Tandoori meal for two with vegetable samosa for the optional side and Gulab Jamun for dessert.. and all I can say is it was DELICIOUS and SO FILLING! Our next trip to Minneapolis we will for sure be coming again to try something new!
Their chai tea is on point. The food is great. We waited awhile for our server to take our order as i guess they were busy with online orders. I would go back though
Great food and service. The tofu dishes offered good alternative to the traditional paneer cheese versions, and were very tasty vegan protein (and lower carb) options. Nice beer and wine offerings too. The outdoor seating was appreciated on a lovely evening, though a bit noisy due to traffic, alas.
It was a late lunch, so we opted for the dinner for two options that comes with pakora/samosa, biriyani and a dessert. We asked for mix pakora but what we got looked like aloo tikki. I don’t know if this is what is served here as mixed pakora but it was definitely not pakora. However, it tasted good so we didn’t mind. Now, I can’t say the same about biriyani. To begin with, it’s not a biriyani! Seems like no Indian restaurant in twin cities know how to cook a biriyani. This place was not different to that. It is more like a mix of khichdi/fried rice/rice mixed with vegs and meat thingy. It didn’t taste bad, but didn’t taste good either. We got gulab jamun as dessert, and it was okay. The service was good. Place was clean. They have parking in front of the store.
Superb food and friendly staff. The food came very quickly considering we visited during peak dinner hours. Great new interior and lighting. The only thing that’s a bummer is the parking lot is small. Definitely would visit again. (Chicken Josh pictured)
Tasty food with well balanced spices. Wide variety of menu selections ranging from vegetarian, chicken, beef, lamb and fish. Excellent desserts as well. Well informed and friendly staff offer helpful suggestions. Refreshing experience.
Food was very good - chicken curry, Tikka chicken masala, and butter chicken. Ordered garlic naan, but half of it was burnt and couldn’t be eaten. Service was great.
Delicious food!! This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant anywhere! Love the Palak Paneer, Mushroom Masala, Vegetable Biryani, Peshawari Naan, Paneer Naan and more! Highly recommend that you give this place a try and that you try various dishes too! Can’t wait to come back here!
