Staff are the best going out of there way to make you feel like family, the food selection is awesome, bartenders are the best . Great place in uptown to bring your family... the deco in this place is amazing , the outdoor dining patio is one of a kind. Love this place .

Like Uptown is it's hard to complain about slowish service or busy servers when you know it takes time to drive around and park esspecially durring rush hour. As a neighborhood bar Amazing Thialand has one of the best happy hours around. Their food is bretty big portioned. Some of the dishes realy are amazing. And the flavor is pretty decent if not very well made, cant say I've tried all of it though... So go for happy hour and sit near the bar, or order ahead and go pick it up-or remember to enjoy the crowd as if you aren't one of them when your sitting there on a busy weekend, because it does get busy, very busy. Like going to the state fair and complaining about all the people, the early bird gets the worm. I just had Pho last night sat at the bar durring happy hour the order took about ten minutes to get ready and I had enough to bring a meal home. --Some of the appetizers are great, the chicken wings are crispy crunchy and tasty from what I remember. Ussually I get the Tom Yum when I feel a cold coming on. The little out door alley/patio seating under the rickshaw [scooter] is pretty neat cozy and chill compared to most Uptown patios- if you can get a seat in the summer. Love it.

I had a craving for Thai food, and this location came very highly recommended. I enjoyed the lunch special of a spring roll and curry. The presentation was lovely, and the chicken in the curry was truly fantastic. It was a roasted and pulled chicken instead of the thinly sliced chicken that usually comes with curry. The curry wasn’t as creamy as I’m used to, but was still great tasting. I ate it all!

If you’re in uptown, Amazing Thailand is most certainly worth a stop. They serve some of, if not THE best Thai food around. I’ve come to be a regular, and highly recommend the cracked chicken, papaya salad, and tom kha soup—although there’s really nothing on their menu you can go wrong with. The staff are kind, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere is comfy and richly decorated. Whether you bring a date, a group, or order delivery—it’s fantastic and you won’t be disappointed either way.

Look no further for exquisite Thai cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed their fried pumpkin appetizer. I thoroughly enjoyed the pumpkin curry, which is great with mock duck. My companion's entre was also excellent. I can see why there was a steady stream of delivery/take out going out. If you wish to dine in, there is plenty of room. The booths even have coat hooks.

Consistently great Thai cuisine. My favorite place to go for a great plate of Pad Thai, Chicken satay, egg rolls, wontons or fried rice. Great service, lots of seating (small patio), with a parking garage across the street (near Roat Osha restaurant {which is also amazing btw}). Great for date night or a solo bite.

Delicious Thai food in the uptown area. I love coming here during happy hour, even better deals on great food. Food: Recommend the spring rolls, cracked chicken, papaya salad, and tom kha soup and cream cheese wontons—although there’s really nothing on their menu you can go wrong with. Service: staff are kind, attentive, and friendly. Atmosphere: comfy and richly decorated with thai decor feel. Parking is not close and you will likely have to park on the street.

Amazing Thailand has got to be one of the best Thai restaurants in Minnesota, hands down!! Their food is wonderful. So much flavor in everything, which is hard to find in Minnesota overall. I’ve not had anything on the menu that I did not like. And of course there are my staple favorites, like the Cracked Chicken and Drunken Noodles!! But the best thing about Amazing Thailand??…the house made chili oil!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! This oil is something to be reckoned with, for real. The oil is so aromatic and absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! It tastes like it smells. And I put it on EVERYTHING!! I love that they sell jars of it for home use. Put it on eggs, potatoes, rice, chicken, steak, tofu!!! Lol. It is truly AMAZING and so is the food!!!!

A great spot. This is THE best Thai restaurant I've been to in the Twin Cities. They have lots of options to choose from, the food is excellent and the service is exceptional. I got the pumpkin curry with duck and I cleared my plate with no leftovers - a rarity for me. Reasonable prices too, will definitely be back.

The first time I've been to Amazing Thailand in 5 or 6 years was very good; not great, but very good. That's not a bad thing. I love Thai Food. To earn 5-stars from me, a Thai restaurant has to be in Thailand. Amazing Thai has very good food, good atmosphere a hole-in-the-wall, a well stocked bar, and staff that do their best to welcome you. I don't know how long it'll be around since Uptown appears to be in between reincarnations. The only way Amazing Thai has a chance to stay alive to regain its past glory is if customers eat and drink at one of the last of the Uptown dining gens. That's up to you. I promise it's worth saving through your patrona8.

Amazing Thailand has my favorite Red curry of anywhere I have been, and the Pad Thai and Basil Fried rice were also delicious. I have been here 3-4 times and every time the food is amazing. Great place to bring vegetarians or Vegans with plenty of options for them as well. Only challenge is parking can be hard to find as you have to park in the street at least a block away.
