This place is awesome!! It's a great place for family and couples. Excellent food, superb wait staff, even the manager came to insure we we're enjoying our service and food.
Wonderful restaurant.....first time at this location....we had spaghetti and meatballs, caesar salad.......the waitress accommodated our request for extra sauce, meatballs......like the sharing style ......a very good experience for all of us, adults and children alike.
Love it here. The server here was just the loveliest person ever. Food as always is spectacular. Great Italian desserts. Slightly expensive but this is due to the serving sizes being for 3-5 people for each item of food. Always suggest coming in bigger groups for a fantastic experience.

It was our first time to visit and she took time to explain the menu to us. Just be ready to Mangia when you go! The atmosphere is of an authentic Mamma and Papà ristorante! We also celebrated my wife’s birthday! The ice cream Sundae fed a famiglia of five!

Great food, even better service (Troy is a delight)! However, the ventilation is horrendous, making it incredibly warm 😥. This makes it difficult to enjoy your meal and the people dining with you.
Tasted a wonderful garlic, spaghetti type of Pasta, dish a very long time ago, it wasn’t a red sauce dish but it was so delicious I never forgot it. wish it was back on Menu!!! December 2023 this is a shout out to a Downtown Minneapolis wonderful delightful Employee named Jonathan! Seasonings smell as wonderful as taste!! Took care of me, explained the Menu and prompt service!
This place was amazing!!! I've never eaten anywhere where the dishes are $35+ but they are meant to feed 2 to 3. Still strange, what if a couple goes in to try two different things but the don't want to feed 4 to 6. I guess this place is mostly for large parties. I got stuffed shells, which where amazing. There's so much I wanted to try. I wish I lived in this city, I would go back. The server was just incredible to. Great personality and service. I wish I knew her name. I Def recommend eating here if your in Minneapolis.
P.s. DONT go to Nicollet diner. I made that mistake 2 years in a row. It's never good and it was way more expensive. I spent $20 (split 6 ways) here but $40 at the diner for just a meal and a shake.
Okay. Is there any more FUN place for family style Italian than Buca di Beppo? If there is, I don't where to find it. From the gaudy decor, to the sixty-ish rat-pack-esque tunes, to the quintessential Italian menu, and the super friendly and efficient staff, everything just hits. We've been to several Bucas all across the country, but this one is one of our faves and we've visited many times. On this particular night, our party was only 3, with one 12yo, which makes it hard at a family style the restauarant, but we managed to push through! The apple gorgonzola salad was outstanding, as was the spicy chicken rigatoni, both dishes were shared by my wife and I and we still walked away with leftovers for another meal! The kiddo had buttered noodles from the kid's menu and was given the gold standard "thumbs up", there is no higher praise, in case you were wondering. We also shared a phenomenal garlic bread at the table. Until next time, Buca. Until next time. 😊
Went for a reception dinner and it was a blast. There was about 30 of us. We had our own area, packed but fun. It did get really hot but everything else was great. The food was made with good eyes, the portions were great for sharing with everyone, tons of leftovers! The staff was very attentive and outgoing. The experience was something I would enjoy again.
Great atmosphere. Food was very tasty. We had the Margarita Pizza and cannelloni. We had some crostinis for appetizers. They came in a giant martini glass filled with toppings and the bread around the outside. Overall we had a great experience. Our server was prompt and very polite.
A very homie old fashion spot. I love the stairs down to get inside. The portions are amazing for the price. The food tastes fantastic! I will be back again. My serve was John and he couldn’t of done a better job. My son and I enjoyed having you as our server. Thank you so much
