Love it here. The server here was just the loveliest person ever. Food as always is spectacular. Great Italian desserts. Slightly expensive but this is due to the serving sizes being for 3-5 people for each item of food. Always suggest coming in bigger groups for a fantastic experience.

It was our first time to visit and she took time to explain the menu to us. Just be ready to Mangia when you go! The atmosphere is of an authentic Mamma and Papà ristorante! We also celebrated my wife’s birthday! The ice cream Sundae fed a famiglia of five!

Great food, even better service (Troy is a delight)! However, the ventilation is horrendous, making it incredibly warm 😥. This makes it difficult to enjoy your meal and the people dining with you.

Tasted a wonderful garlic, spaghetti type of Pasta, dish a very long time ago, it wasn’t a red sauce dish but it was so delicious I never forgot it. wish it was back on Menu!!! December 2023 this is a shout out to a Downtown Minneapolis wonderful delightful Employee named Jonathan! Seasonings smell as wonderful as taste!! Took care of me, explained the Menu and prompt service!

This place was amazing!!! I've never eaten anywhere where the dishes are $35+ but they are meant to feed 2 to 3. Still strange, what if a couple goes in to try two different things but the don't want to feed 4 to 6. I guess this place is mostly for large parties. I got stuffed shells, which where amazing. There's so much I wanted to try. I wish I lived in this city, I would go back. The server was just incredible to. Great personality and service. I wish I knew her name. I Def recommend eating here if your in Minneapolis.
P.s. DONT go to Nicollet diner. I made that mistake 2 years in a row. It's never good and it was way more expensive. I spent $20 (split 6 ways) here but $40 at the diner for just a meal and a shake.

Okay. Is there any more FUN place for family style Italian than Buca di Beppo? If there is, I don't where to find it. From the gaudy decor, to the sixty-ish rat-pack-esque tunes, to the quintessential Italian menu, and the super friendly and efficient staff, everything just hits. We've been to several Bucas all across the country, but this one is one of our faves and we've visited many times. On this particular night, our party was only 3, with one 12yo, which makes it hard at a family style the restauarant, but we managed to push through! The apple gorgonzola salad was outstanding, as was the spicy chicken rigatoni, both dishes were shared by my wife and I and we still walked away with leftovers for another meal! The kiddo had buttered noodles from the kid's menu and was given the gold standard "thumbs up", there is no higher praise, in case you were wondering. We also shared a phenomenal garlic bread at the table. Until next time, Buca. Until next time. 😊

Went for a reception dinner and it was a blast. There was about 30 of us. We had our own area, packed but fun. It did get really hot but everything else was great. The food was made with good eyes, the portions were great for sharing with everyone, tons of leftovers! The staff was very attentive and outgoing. The experience was something I would enjoy again.

Great atmosphere. Food was very tasty. We had the Margarita Pizza and cannelloni. We had some crostinis for appetizers. They came in a giant martini glass filled with toppings and the bread around the outside. Overall we had a great experience. Our server was prompt and very polite.

I was craving pizza today and my husband suggested Buca for pizza... never had it but I'm always willing to try something new!
It was delivered quickly and still tasted fresh. The sauce was amazing, kind of a thicker tomato sauce. The cheese was the perfect amount, maybe not for my lactose intolerant husband but I sure enjoyed it
We got a kids pasta and that was a generous sized portion- one large chicken and an adult sized portion of spaghetti and sauce.
I would absolutely order their pizza again and never would have expected it to be so good there, given they're more famous for their pastas!

This is the real deal authentic Italian restaurant(I can't speak to other locations but you can't go wrong with the downtown Minneapolis vibe.) The food is pure comfort food that your Italian grandmother makes. Most entrees feed multiple people and are meant to be shared, family style. I was there on October 10, 2023, to celebrate my kid's 29th birthday. The service is excellent. We were greeted warmly the moment we found the correct door ( out of three possibilities) and entered. The atmosphere is 1950s vintage perfection, like stepping back in time. As to cocktails, the Old Fashioned is a great as any I've sampled in Minneapolis...which is a big number I won't disclose, but I really enjoyed their version, and the food was delicious exactlyas you'd expect. It's a family friendly place, but also a great friends meet-up spot or date night dinner place as well. Highly recommend.

This was my first time at a place like this! I loved the atmosphere. It was a little busy for the time of day we went on a Sunday, so it took a little bit for our waiter to get to us, but he was apologetic and really kind! He answered all of our questions and had a great energy about him. The “small” entree fed myself and my boyfriend (and we didn’t even finish it all)! Worth the money. Definitely will be back if I have the chance.

Where do I even start...?
Well, Bucca De Beppo is a delicious l, friendly, and exhilarating place. We went here on Mothers Day, and it was packed. Though they still were able to get us in within a minute. (With a reservation)
The staff were so kind and understanding for my baby brother. (Who is 12)
The food here, is unlike anything I've ever tasted. The delicious molecules of the Alfred Sauce on the Fettuccine Alfredo was just rolling off my tongue.
Even the people eating were kind. They all chew with their mouths closed, then when everyone was done, we broke out in a song and dance.
There was even a guy with a lilo and stitch shirt.
The only negative part, would be we never got straws.. but my social anxiety touchee would not ask.
Eventually... we had to go, but I really wish I could've stayed and ate The baby was also so nice at the resteraunt. Didn't cry at all.
Please accept my review and enjoy Bucca Di Beppo in Minneapolis.

Its a very decent place for authentic pasta and delicious pizza. They have decent vegetarian options as well. The spicy chicken rigatoni is my personal favorite and a must try! This restaurant also have very good birthday celebration thing, they sing and do a nice little clap music. One thing is that their portion sizes are all huge! so make sure you have a company, because if there is only one person dining then you’ll have a lot of leftover. Overall its a nice place for food at a decent price.

The portions are MASSIVE! Me and my boyfriend didn’t know everything was family sized until we got the food Lolol. We had a looooot of leftovers. Atmosphere was cool and the decor was fun. Troy was our server. Totally excellent and great at his job.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. From the service to the food, could not ask for a better night, Parmesan chicken is to die for!!!!!! Buca Minneapolis made Christmas dinner for the whole family, a night to remember. I wish I could remember our waiters name, I would give him props as well. He was tremendous.

It had been years since we were here. What a mistake of ours! You DON’T have to have a large group to eat well here. We (3) had the small portions of caprese salad, spaghetti and meatballs and chicken saltimboca. All of it was really wonderful. The cheesy garlic bread was SO good, just like I remember. We will be gone MT back soon!

I was in town with my two younger nephews and niece for Annimineapolis over at the Hyatt Sat the 28th about 4pm. We walked over (beautiful neighborhood) and had dinner. Our server was so attentive and helpful. My niece had her first experience here that she still talks about. My nephew's remembered our visit last year and told her all about the atmosphere and good food. Our waitress even warned me just how huge the brownie dessert was and made smaller versions so the kds wouldn't have a sugar coma. I will continue to visit here every time I'm in town. Thank You waitress I wish I remembered your name. We were the group with the girl and boy dressed as Link and Zelda.

Went for a birthday gathering. Food was good enough. Not great. Prosciutto stuffed chicken was really good. Drinks were overpriced and weak. The apple gorgonzola salad was terrific. Not for everyday, your wallet will suffer.

The waiter was nice but it seem like the more I come here the worse the food tastes yesterday was my third time coming the chicken really didn't have a good taste to it and the noodles in the spaghetti wasn't cooked all the way it was chewy this was my favorite Italian restaurant at first not so much anymore
